Chuck's My Little Pony review from yesterday was really cool. He shared his own experiences as being a student in high school that really resonated with me. And how he was when he was a teacher. It's really worth the watch in my opinion, even if you normally skip his My Little Pony reviews.

Glad to see these were finally covered, the reviews were good. And yeah, Chuck going into his time at school was interesting. I wonder if that Equestria Girls: Friendship Games clip at the end will mean anything review-wise.

My experience with high school and college were extremely similar to Chuck's, including the principal coming to me and telling me I was in the 95 percentile.
The difference between me and Chuck is that instead of figuring out how to learn in college, I dropped out of college.
I loved Chuck's snowflake story and The story about his dad's former student. But I sure reminds me of one of my own Middle School teachers Mr. Alshimer. Who was the first person who told me creativity was just as important as knowledge.

I was surprised to see Chuck go into the development of Equestria Girls as much as he did, including inserting behind the scenes clips. He also talks a lot about the negative reaction before it came out. As for his view,
He liked it, including the human designs, and including the big boots. He doesn't have anything bad to say about Flash Sentry. The high school story is weak, but Twilight figuring out human stuff helped there a lot. The climax, with Sunset transforming, could have used some foreshadowing. Sunset's redemption was much too quick, and Starlight's was better; note he hasn't taken Rainbow Rocks into consideration.

Indeed. Disappointed that Half-a-Life isn't there though. It was supposed to be out this weekend for Patreon subscribers. For some reason he replaced it with Discovery 10. One of my personal favorite TNG episods.

Okay then I'm not crazy. Poor Chuck. He should really have a much higher presence among internet reviews but the dude can't catch a break.
I could have sworn I was posting in a SFDebris thread already a while ago. But anywho. I watched most of his his Star Trek reviews, some of his Stargate. It's sad to see he's still having issues with availability of his videos. Haven't really watched much recently, though.

I'm definitely going to have to check those out later in the day I just have been going through his big project with the d&d story and oh my goodness there's some stuff I already knew about but it was kind of wild listening to it with my brother.
