SEGA FES is happening at the end of this month, what crazy announcements are you expecting?

SEGA is holding an event on the 30th and 31st of March where there should be some announcements. Courtesy of Gematsu, here's what was announced last year:

  • SEGA AGES announced for the Nintendo Switch
  • SEGA Megadrive Mini announced.
  • Shenmue I & II announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC
  • New Sakura Wars announced.
  • Release dates for Border Break
  • Valkyria Chronicles Remastered announced for the Switch
  • Valkyria Chronicles 4 for Switch delayed in Japan.
As you can see, there were a bunch of important announcements. Considering this, here's my predictions:

  • SEGA AGES finally releasing Dreamcast titles (maybe even coming to other platforms?)
  • No reason to pretend, I'm hoping for a JSR HD + JSRF collection.
  • Maybe some dive-in into whatever gets announced at Sonic's SXSW panel?
Yes it's all wishful thinking, but that's part of the fun right? Anyways, what are you hoping for?

I assume this is SEGA only and no Atlus involvement? If so, only hoping for the new Sakura Wars.

Jet Set Radio 3. Jet Set Radio was the second most wanted series revival following New Sakura Wars in the poll they had last year.

Maybe showing of the New Yakuza with Ichiban Kasuga, but that's probably being saved for Sony's pre-TGS event.

Persona 5 R will be there in some form I think, but it will probably first be shown after the anime special on March 23.

A Skies of Arcadia remaster would be nice, never got around to playing it.

Yakuza 7 will probably get more info and we might see a spin-off or a remaster/remake of one of the other games in the series.

Aside from that we might see some games announced from Atlus and maybe some new installments from Sega IPs.

This is SEGA we're talking about here. "Crazy announcements" and "expecting" is an oxymoron.

I want Jet Set Radio 3. That's a crazy announcement. I'm not expecting it to happen.

1. Phantasy Star Online EPISODES 1,2,3 (YES CARD BATTLES) & 4 all re-released in HD 4k on current gen consoles and PC (Can be single player only, I don't care)

2. Phantasy Star Online 2 FULL localisation in English will all current expansions and plans for upcoming content.

3. Phantasy Star Universe 2 ANNOUNCED with a simultaneous worldwide release date!

I don't expect much, maybe Outrun 3 and a reboot of Panzer Dragoon Saga, with a new Jet Set Radio slipping out in time for summer. Not asking for anything major.

I expect so much about that SEGA FES thing

  • A Mega Drive Mini update, feat Konami/Disney games and Sega CD support.
  • A Sakura Wars update
  • A SOR4 update
  • A Panzer Dragoon Remake update
  • A TSR update
  • Something about that poll. Virtua Fighter; JSR or Nights related
  • Sega AGES model 1 and 2
  • Debut trailer for Yakuza 7
  • Something about their arcade racers legacy.

Cr*zy is an ablest term y'all.

In the spirit of inclusiveness, and modernizing the game for today's audiences, Sega will drop the trailer for Cr*zy Taxi's successor, Neuroatypical Uber.

Hoping for Outrun 3, Jet Set Radio 3, or Virtua Fighter 6. Or at least VF5FS for PC.

Whilst SEGA AGES currently feels right at home on Switch, I'd still like to see the games come to more platforms - especially if we start getting Dreamcast ports too.

Do we know if there's some kind of exclusivity agreement in place with Nintendo and that's why we're only seeing them on Switch? The Outrun port is amazing.

I'd do anything for a Phantasy Star Online remaster/port on XBO/PS4.

Hoping they announce either Jet Set Radio 3 or Future remastered on Vita/PS4. I want Future so badly on current consoles and would love to play it portable like JSR.

Oh, nothing special, just a Yakuza 3/4/5 collection, Jet Set Radio Future and Panzer Dragoon Orta HD, Sonic Mania 2, and a Sega Saturn classic.
