Seriously, I know for a fact that I didn't get the worst case scenario timeline two presidential elections in a row. I feel bad for my alternate self but it ain't us, no way.

People have to come to the realization that they really intent to keep trump in office. We're past the point where "placating his ego" is an excuse for this behavior. This has nothing to do with the Georgia runoffs.

It's nice to want things but sadly just because you want something enough doesn't mean you get it, kids learn this at a fairly young age but clearly the trump administration hasn't because they've been allowed for years to do whatever they want. Honestly I can't blame these people for being so desperate to find a way to get trump a 2nd term, if I was clearly involved in a bunch of illegal shit the administration of a petty idiot ran, and it was clear he was out of power and you could end up in prison etc when the new DoJ comes in I'd also try to hang onto a way to save myself but sadly for these idiots, that's not gonna happen. They made their bed and are now laying in in, the funny thing is these idiots probably figured if trump lost it wasn't a big deal as he'd do them a solid and give them a pardon for their federal crimes they did for him on the way out, until they realised after trump lost that he isn't gonna do that because he's a petty bitch. I'm sure he's actually told these people if they don't help him win a 2nd term now he isn't signing a pardon for them, which is why they're all jumping like chickens to his aid, too bad for them it won't work and the American people would literally burn america to the ground if they tried which is why they aren't gonna be allowed to.

Yeah they don't give any shits about the constitution, will of the people, etc. That's not news, but what is news is that the longer they keep doing denial the worse its going to get. I really wish we didn't have to wait a month for the election to be certified. You know these fucks want to flip states of electors.

I tried to explain this to a friend of mine yesterday and she couldn't literally compute it. She kept repeating but it's the law, etc. I tried to point out that following law is a choice and if they choose otherwise what then?

We have people in this thread talking about the electorate decision. The thing is if the Republicans in power in conjunction with the president and his followers simply choose to ignore the results and the law then we're in for something quite different...
If you look back at what the founding fathers wrote this system that the country was built on is literally worded as an experiment. Perhaps this is the result and the experiment will have been shown to have failed.
He works for Trump. He toes the party line or gets fired. Did anyone think Pompeo would break ranks with Trump? No one in the Trump administration will ever publicly acknowledge a loss unless Trump concedes (which won't happen).
