Screenshots of cancelled Sonic spinoff "Treasure Tails" revealed

Craig Stitt, a former Sega Technical Institute developer, has recently shared some interesting information about cancelled Sega games. One of those games was Astropede, a game that was meant to take place in the Sonic universe, and the second was an actual Sonic spinoff named Treasure Tails.

No footage yet, just some screenshots, but who knows... Maybe more will be revealed soon, because there should be an old VHS tape with footage somewhere.

Tails' sprite being the same in all screen shots makes me think these were probably bullshots

Edit: ah shit VHS captures? Then animation was probably very crude

Sega really made a whole lot of weird Sonic stuff back in the day. Sonic Crackers, Sonic Edusoft, Tails Skypatrol, Sonic Labyrinth, that Sonic SatAM game, Astropede and this...

I always loved the Sonic games. I don't know why, but they remind me of summer.

With good reason IMO as Spinball is a very ugly game.

I wish Sega would make a modern Amy game. My daughter asks me for more game with girls as the heroes. She enjoyed Amy hacks, and likes Amy as a character.

...and I would like to see a new Tails Adventure.

Feel like Tails Adventure is really hurt by the limitations of the Game Gear, I'd love to see some kind of remake or expanded sequel someday
