Yep, it's an open pre-order for 6 weeks like the standard and classic editions.
Switch version in limited 1080p but with possibility of handheld or 4K Xbox (Series X) version but then with no handheld?

Man, I honestly might triple dip on this shit. (Or I guess quadruple, since I have the PS3 version already...?) Probably going to get the PS4 version this week, and preorder the Switch and PS4 LRG versions: I'll more than likely make one of those preorders the KO edition, it looks amazing.
Handheld is a interesting prospect just for being able to grind out money/EXP whenever & wherever, IMO.

Performance seems fine, as good as I remember it being when I played it on PS3 years back.
Only just finished the second stage mind you, but haven't seen any hitches so far. (This is on Switch.)
This is a pixel art based game. You're not going to get any sharper pixels at 4K.
I lived with 3 close friends when this came out on PS3 way back when. Feels like a lifetime ago.

I mean, just because a png picture is pixel and 2D based doesn't mean I can simply zoom in 400% and it still will be sharp?
Like, I remember playing Virtual Console games on Wii and Wii U and even if the NES and SNES games were pixel based, they still were a blurry (washed out) mess on 1080p TVs. 🤔
By the way it's online in Germany on the Switch.

On order. Don't expect shipment for a while as well. Basicly get from them if you really want a physical thing to have, not because you want to play it right away.
Correct. On their pre order items I typically wait till there is another item I also want just to have combined shipping. Also if you have more then one item they give a shipping box for free instead of having to pay for it.
IIRC the PS3 one was a Scott head or something so it's not much better. At least the Switch icon is nice.
