In all seriousness, though, I'll absolutely play it day one on PS5. I loved the hell out of the first game, but I also just got an ultrawide monitor, so I can dream.. hehe.
I went from not knowing who they are to, "how do I stop seeing these threads?" in a week's time.
That'd be bananas. Not happening. But maybe....

Probably eighteen months after the ps5 version, would be my guess, maybe a year if they really accelerate things
Forgot there's Star Ocean: The Divine Force news confirmed for this month.
There's also Dragon Quest Treasures news coming in June, but I imagine that'll show up in the rumored Nintendo Direct rather than State of Play.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn I'll bet on Nintendo as well since the original game was on Super Famicom.
This would actually make sense for Sony but it's not likely. PS5s are hard to come by, the game is cross gen. Release on PC day 1 and put the game in the hands of the largest audience (PS4+PS5+PC) at once.
It is so hard to predict with Sony. There is so much they could show. It really could go either way. I am more inclined to think they will just have a God of War focused SoP, but really anything could happen.

But, considering this is from The Snitch & some other hints, trailer/an SoP is possible.
Hopefully they show some of that "sequel hook" in regards to gameplay. I know people have meme'd the whole "it looks like a DLC" thing, but as far as combat and core gameplay is concerned, the last trailer really didn't show much new stuff, so here is hoping they show a good bit of new combat mechanics and maybe even a new weapon.
I dunno, if you're willing to pay $750-800 for the kinda insane bundles Gamestop keeps sticking the systems in, you might be able to get one soon.

They didn't announce a date for the PC version of TLoU Part 1 so not sure if they would for God of War 2
Sekiro won GOTY as well and I wouldnt call its story fantastic (its fun though).
Seems like it might be in poor taste considering it's about Kratos slaughtering all those Gods lol

2019 was a weak year too. Sekiro wouldn't have won in years with something like God of War, TLOU, RDR2 etc.
I'd be happy enough to get a "coming to PC later".
But i completely understand why they wouldn't, I've been PC only for a while but I'm thinking of trying to score a PS5 bundle if possible.
Nah Elden Ring will still be the heavy favorite to win GOTY.
God of War however will prevent it from winning like 95% of all the awards though. Making the year more interesting.
People seem to kinda forget the VGAs is not the only GOTY award for some reason. Funilly enough, Resident Evil 2 and Death Stranding got more GOTY awards from outlets than Sekiro, the VGAs winner, it was a very close call. Same happened witch Uncharted 4 vs Overwatch. My take is that Elden Ring and GoWR may end up with a similar split, both wining similar amount of GOTYs from outlets. I don't care which wins what btw
Think we need to make "Day one on PC?" an instant ban. Not only is it irritating, its just flat out stupid, with 0% chance of happening.
