The Japanese video game industry has been hit pretty hard with the impact of COVID-19. A lot of projects are behind schedule and From is not immune to the global situation either.
I can safaly say that by the time the confenrece is over the statement that "ME trilogy would have been more relevant than at least one of these announcements" will be true.

For real, why would Microsoft give time to a slightly cleaned up Xbox 360 series in their next gen games show.
If they would have showed it off, it would have been MY most hyped thing.
I'm here for the people pretending the conference is "ruined" and "useless" because of this.

Take all the time you need Fromsoftware!! A dark fantasy open world ARPG by Fromsoftware is a dream game for me already.

Are you assuming this game won't be next gen? Sure it was announced for current gen, but at the state of everything, it makes sense for them to move it over.
I don't care about the release date, I just want to see it. :(

That sounds like support for the idea that it will never come out.
I don't expect to see it until E3 2021 for a possible release that Winter or maybe even Spring 2022.
I'm so disappointed they're not dropping PS4/XB1 for Elden Ring if it's indeed released around that time period as most of the day one AAA consumers will be on next gen anyway by then.

I feel like numerous people have been trying to tell us we wouldn't see the game soon for awhile and everyone is just trying to will it into existence anyway.
Really stinks, hope this doesn't end up canceled, maybe we'll get lucky and see it in August but it's probably not this year at all.
