RIP Mighty No. 9 Portable Edition.
Of course it is. Last time I checked: both of them lacked Sony's support.

Huh, didn't see it coming.
Where'd you get that absurd idea?I hope sony does something to keep their handheld games playable in the future.
There are a couple of ips that started on the vita that i think are worth pursuing a bit further. I mean the only one that sony seems to care about so far is gravity rush.

Yeah man curved sized are sorely missed. Vita was so nice to hold.Vita would be getting games way into the next decade if they didn't, it's just too fierce.
Now someone give me a new handheld with curved sides (unless Sony has the shape patented...) so I don't need a grip to hold it.
I wish. It's nice seeing Kat show up in japanese promos and stuff, but it feels more like someone stealthily putting her there (whoever's responsible for such a stunt is my hero).
But yeah, there's more than a bunch of original Vita IPs that deserve to outlive it.
Mine failed just recently. I'm probably going to get a MicroSD card adapter.Apparently those like to fail I hear? I went with a 32GB to be safe.
Lol, this is something I observed too haha!Nintendo trying their hardest to act like the 3DS isn't 100% dead and Sony being determined to kill the Vita at all cost despite it quietly getting new releases relatively often to this day lol.
Let the poor thing live, Sony you cowards.
The vita isn't losing access to the store, it's new games being cut out to come to the store. The reason most likely is that they are ending support for certifying Vita Software. What do they have to lose by letting the device access the store though?
I've never understood this.

Is there a single thread that doesn't mention the switch?
I wish I could think of the Switch as the Vita successor but damn if this picture doesn't make me wish a Vita successor would come.
probably hurts sony to keep supporting it, once they cut off the ability to add new games they can redirect resources from vita dev support to something else
Damn right it is. If Vita were human being I wouldn't be in this thread because I'd be too busy licking its balls right now.
Sad that there are 4 things on that Vita screen the Switch doesn't support.
Trophies, party, music and... Welcome Park?Sad that there are 4 things on that Vita screen the Switch doesn't support.
Switch having no message functionality whatsoever is seriously unbelievable.Sad that there are 4 things on that Vita screen the Switch doesn't support.
Crazy how that quote turned out in reality

Yeah....we really shouldn't use the awful "jackofallcontrollers" site, made by the awful AlphaFoxWarfare, as a source for anything.Update: The indie game publisher Ratalaika Games has responded to Jack of All Controllers stating that on their end for both the North American and European fronts, they aren't seeing anything in terms of a cut-off date.
Switch form factor is gash compared to the beauty that is the Vita.
Damn, most apt thing about the Vita I've ever read.
