Rudy Giuliani has been hospitalized in Washington, DC, after testing positive for the pandemic coronavirus and exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

The former New York City mayor and personal lawyer for President Trump appeared to confirm he had tested positive for the virus in a tweet late Sunday evening, thanking people for prayers and kind wishes. "I'm getting great care and feeling good. Recovering quickly and keeping up with everything," he wrote. Trump first broke the news of Giuliani's infection in a tweet earlier that day.

According to multiple outlets, the 76-year-old has been experiencing symptoms of the disease and is now hospitalized at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington. So far, there is no further information about his condition, and the course of his disease is unclear. Giuliani is considered to be at high risk of the deadly illness due to his age alone.

Probably. It seems demonstrated on several occasions with COVID that the wealthy get precautionary treatment to help ensure they don't worsen, and get ready access to the top treatments available. They'll have him sit there just in case at least, because he's special you see.

I'm sure he'll get the best care in the world, because Trump doesn't want his lawyer to embarrassingly die in public.

Everyone else faces the risk of minimum treatment and life-ruining medical bills. We can't afford to take zero precaution.

It'd be great if he died, but he's getting top of the line care so he'll probably recover. Hopefully, at the very least, he's suffering a little.

This mother fucker probably got preemptively hospitalized and got drugs nobody else can get. Meanwhile us normal people get sent home because hospitals are full and can't get a bed unless we are deathly ill. Fuck him and fuck trump
