my go-to was Canada Computers; they don`t get as much business, so you can actually see stuff there`;Memory Express has the Gigabyte Eagle for $530. (Out of stock, obviously. Dunno if it was ever in stock.)
FE is out of stock now, I literally bought it as soon as it went live, like within the first minute
Same... I thought it was live at 9AM EST?
Me too. Still waiting. I have shit to do, man. So I know that as soon as I go to do so, they're going to be sold out.
I think it is just high demand, 2000 series was bad so a lot of people skipped. And 1000 series was too soon after 970 which was very popular, new consoles coming out and Xmas means FOMO is really strong.
Phew. Got one from Currys in the UK.
Pretty much looked at each of the listings and camped out the one that had the lowest traffic. Which was a chunky looking PNY model. While others were reported by the site as getting thousands of clicks per hour, that one had about 300.
So, boop. Got it. Still kind of 50 quid off the list price of a 3070 but, whatever. VR and Control, here I come!
Don't worry, as soon as I get flooded with work this will go live
I haven't had any luck in the UK. I saw one at Currys for £450 but it was outside the budget for my cousin (who i am getting it for)
I have 10+ websites open, and not a single one of them has it in stock, this is insane
I don't think people who are farming out term "paper launch" know what it means... 🤔
Well.... i bought it..MSI Italy is selling this one for 569: https://itstore.msi.com/schede-video/nvidia/geforce-rtx-3060-ti-gaming-x-trio.html
anyone seen any stock on Overclockers UK yet? it's all still showing as 'coming soon' for me
If you can afford it, you did the right thing mate, enjoy it
In terms of a 'literal' paper launch, this certainly isn't one, no.
But when the product has been out for going on 3 months, and you're still unable to meet demand due to incredibly small supply, fab issues or not, it certainly starts to feel like one.
For around 60 to 80 euros more you can get a 3070, assuming stock is available.in hungary i can see the cheapest one (gainward ghost) going for 492 euros.
Not great.... not entirely terrible.
That's all I see on any of the live card links. Even now I still don't see 'sold out'.

About that...
If we loosen use like that then AMD, NV, Sony and MS all just did paper launches through the H2 2020.

So is Best Buy just borked? Can't believe I've been refreshing for half an hour....
You could buy Series X consoles all day when that launched. These cards went out of stock in under a minute. That's a big difference.
....Yes, a lot of people HAVE been saying that, lol.
Less so in reference to consoles due to recency (and 'somewhat' less of a supply issue - hours versus seconds), but yes.
Scalpers certainly aren't helping, to be fair.
OC UK are slightly delaying their release. Have a look at this post on the forums.

Cheers, thanks for the link!
Minutes. If you weren't online for when PS5s went live, you didn't get one. Here in the UK, Amazon was up for the longest by far - about 8 minutes.I paid no attention to the console launches - the XSX took hours, how long was the PS5 up for?
I won't be mad if I don't get one today. I just want a chance. best buy, pls
