You and I had a great run of running great then yesterday you decided in the middle of playing Animal Crossing that this is far as your screen would run without issues. Now the contrast is down, colors look darker and something is going on there's smudges and ghosting/image retention no matter what I do. You still run fine on docked mode but I barely used that and now I'm forced to and I hope you keep running long enough for a switch pro or until there's more switches that aren't being sold for 500 fucking bucks.

I feel for you, althought be glad it isnt a Switch light screen failure. I was stunned to see switches sold out everywhere, and only realized because I sold my launch switches on Ebay for 400 bucks each... could not understand why people were paying more than new until I saw the OOS literally everywhere

If you barely docked it, you can at least change it for a lite (when possible...) which is so, so much better in handled.

If nothing else should contact them for an estimated cost of replacing the screen.

If you never use TV mode, just get a Lite. Target has them in stock right now. The Lite is a much better handheld than the regular Switch.

And yeah its out of warranty that only lasted 1 year. All repair shops are currently down due to covid but ill have to check on pricing later.

I saw one like that yesterday. The second I saw that the sped up video from an expert still took a century I was like uuuuh let me see what the premium is for someone to do it for me once the repair shops are open again.
