Oh, so there's a male version of the Ring Fit Adventurer as well. I guess there are gonna be both form & skin tone options in the game.

Still, it's clear that they made the female adventurer first, considering that the flaming hair doesn't really fit the male variant's hair style.
I like the idea behind it, but it all looks so boring and casual from the actual RPG-gameplay and design behind it.
But I guess a more serious and complex RPG with these kinds of controls would not cater to the target audience.
That said, why not make a new Mario RPG with these controls? Could be a great fit. Maybe if this one is a success we get more games.
That's what I said.
They need a clear presentation of the move i guess. That also seem to be why these model have a long limb.Since we're consolidating into one thread I'm going to re-post because I feel like it's a mistake especially today to not have different body types for the avatar character...
a 2 min video?really IGN?
there is nothing in it .
The Cnet video is a bit more interesting.
Ah, fair enoughYou said you guess, I'm assuming that person was just confirming it for you.
There will probably be an "Accurate Movements" category. No way they won't have this at a GDQ at some point.i don't think it will be interesting, speedrunners will probably not use the fitness move. They will "cheat" with the thing.
I do like that there are many additional features on top of the RPG. It would be nice to know if it'll get more content or other fitness games will use the peripheral, too.
There is a reason why Nintendo prefers non-traditional gaming outlet for these kind of products.a 2 min video?really IGN?

Andre, do you know if there's an option to change from miles to km? T
Yeah, I'm mostly asking for the rest of the Americas, as we are all part of the NA region when it comes to games. I don't doubt there won't be an option to change it but I just want to be 100% sure. There surely must be in localisation, Euros aren't going to relate to mile and yards and hands and all that nonsense.
Not sure if a speedrun of this game would be interesting with how on-rails the game is. Would be a fun novelty, though. There will probably be an "Accurate Movements" category. No way they won't have this at a GDQ at some point.

That sounds pretty amazing as I'm always stressed.Oh wow, there's a mode where you can take the ringcon with you away from the Switch and just do squeezes throughout the day, and it will measure/count the squeezes and report back with how much you did and give you points once you restart the game.
That's really cool. I could see myself doing that at the office when I'm bored and want to start fiddling with my hands.

related to this, this preview mentions you can change eye color, skin tone and body type (alongside new clothing):
I wonder if 30 minutes is enough for everyday routine Or 1 hour max
In regular fitness terms, 30 minutes barely get you started. It should be fine and obviously a little of exercise is better than none at all, but I'd say that if you want to get an actual workout out of it you'll have to push it a little bit further.
