Forgive the noob question but there's official mod support on the X? Are they paid..?

They are not paid, at least not any that I know of. You can build the entire load order proposed in this thread by the OP for free, needless to say. And yes, it's official support, a bit more limited than on pc though. PS is even more limited. On xbox (one or series) you get 5 GB and/or 150 mods limit.

Okay Xbox Load Order is done. With three different templates. My personal preference, No Survival Mods, and a minimalist Vanilla gameplay load order focusing on just graphics updates.

I'm getting PC specific Load Order updated for 2021. My current load order is / was 15GB that was BEFORE Anniversary Edition though, I am revisiting it again so I don't know how the hell this is gonna work, all I know is this gonna be a biggun folks!

I really recommend Wabbajack lists as this makes life easier. Could pick a list closest to what you want and go from there.

The Phoenix Flavour is a good start and compatible with AE. There is also a downgrader available on Nexus now if needed to go back to SE.

I've got a question/issue. I think my third person camera has got bugged. 😩

How is the default Skyrim third person camera, very near? My camera was more centered and far, like not much difference from when you get your weapons out in third person, but with them holstered too. But now after interacting with some thing it's got to the left hand closer, it looks horrible, kinda like if you are overburdened I think.

Is this a known bug or something, can it be undone? Because I've already saved after much progress and don't feel like going back to some older save.

3rd person camera is sorta near with the targeting cursor positioned slightly over the shoulder.

If you swapped mods on the same character / save file, it can result in all kinds of weirdness. Even if you remove a mod from your load order to swap it out with something else there will always be some sort of remnant of the removed mod tied to the save hence "dirty save bug" being a very real and unfortunate thing.

No but I didn't swap any mods. It was after interacting with some enchantment table I think. Happened to me once after interacting with fishing supplies but I noticed it and loaded a previous game, but tonight I didn't realize until some time later and now I've advanced quite a bit like that.

I've loaded an older save and it definitely was further and more centered before, much much better. Sigh. I wonder if disabling and re enabling some mod would do anything or its just a bug somewhere and I'd only make things worse.

Holy crap, maybe I broke it myself. The internet just taught me you can manually alter third person camera zoom without mods. You just hold down right stick and zoom in or out with the left stick. 👌👌

Now I can keep playing lol.

Btw you can't bring up the game's console on Xbox, is that right?

That is correct you can't bring up the console on the Xbox, which is why the Cheat Room mod exists. It's a work around to have access to console commands without being unable to type them in.

There is also Quest Debugger mod but that is specifically for getting around quest related issues when and needing to go to the next stage of a quest event if the game bugs itself and doesn't properly clear an event flag for a quest.

I've got a vacation coming up, and wanted to take some time to sit down and complete the Skyrim modding.

I just wanted to check with OmegaDL50 to see if the current spreadsheet is the absolute final "definitive" load order list, and whether or not the latest console update added/broke anything.

Console load order is finished. I don't see anything with the patch update that would impact console users.

If the PC version was updated on the other hand that would be an entirely different issue.

Hey, everybody 😊

Am I the only one having skin texture problems with a dawnguard recruiter in the very first village?

Is there by chance an option to have the compass HUD (the one at the bottom) fade out when standing still?

Just thought it would come in handy for screenshots, nothing major.

I had a few questions about the way some of the mods worked.

1. When using the Alternate Start mod, do you always have to revisit the Helgan cave in order to start the main story?

If so, either I'm blind or the quest is bugged; I know that you're supposed to find the injured guy and heal him in order to proceed, as I've done so the first couple times when I first tried the mod a couple months ago. But now, I can't for the life of me find him anywhere, and I've restarted with different start points twice.

2. Is there a way to disable the Faction notifications whenever a faction person dies? Or at least remove the notifications about how much gold they lose (what's even the point of this one)?

3. I can't seem to figure out how Wearable Lanterns work. Do you need to own a specific lantern? I have one in my inventory but I can't seem to turn it on.

You have to craft a wearable (travel?) lantern, which is a different item from a standard lantern. You can do it at a forge iirc. Standard lantern is needed as ingredient. Then you can equip it from apparel I think, and make it a shortcut too. In powers you can set it up with a few options and you can assign the power button to toggle it too.

You don't need to visit the Helgen Cave to start the main quest. You can just go straight to Riverwood and talk to one of the townsfolk and warn them of the Dragon Attack, but you must at least go to Helgen and see the Dragon fly away from it.

The Faction notifications are part of the Faction Warfare mod, you can visit the Faction Stronghold of a given alliance and you can sell equipment to these factions to outfit them. Factions will earn and lose gold based on particular events.

If you kill more bandits, you'll earn favor with the common folk and can randomly encounter adventurer parties out in the world. Eventually if you kill enough of a given faction you can become hated enemies and hunting parties can attempt to track you down to kill you. Like randomized bandit assaults while traveling on the road. Or if you are an Evil character who kills innocents, you can gain favor with the unsavory factions like Bandits or Forsworn, and in turn the Common Folk will put a bounty on you and the Adventurers will try to claim it.

Killing Bandits will cause them to lose warfunds in the Faction War giving them less gold to properly outfit their hunting parties and thus you can control the balance of factions in your favor.

A much more detailed description is on this page - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32997?tab=description

Any idea why this is happening (loaded twice, same result)?

Do the guards immediately become hostile after the execution? If you stand far away from the platform where they kill Roggvir do they still become hostile afterwards?

This definitely sounds like a vanilla bug but the Unofficial Patch should have fixed this issue. Sounds very suspiciously like this to be honest - https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wik...Roggvir's head, has an excessively high bounty.

Yeah, right after the execution. Even with the latest Faction Warfare update, this still happens. The only way I've managed to avoid it was to just walk to the other side of town, and then head back when the execution is over.

Just wondering if this is something that could keep happening going forward. I haven't dedicated to a new character yet as I want to make sure I have everything set up and in a stable state (I'm aware bugs are inevitable but at least nothing on this level).
