This is the least bad outcome of Trump's pardon spree, so I don't believe it. He will at least pardon his kids/Jared and nearly every political appointment in his admin.

Yes. If you accept a pardon, you also lose your Fifth Amendment rights, so it could simply be self preservation for Trump.
I'm hoping this is just the tip of the pardon hilarity iceburg.

Yes yes yes, I'm aware. I got dogpiled for it, I don't know how many more times I can get replied to when I admitted to a mistake. All I wanted to do was joke around and make people laugh.

Not super specific. He pardoned Flynn for "anything arising from the Mueller investigation". It can't literally be "any crime" since that's too broad but vague categories will work. The crimes don't have to be discovered or charged at that point and from what I heard a pardon can even be issued to a "John Doe", i.e. a suspect who hasn't been identified yet.
