As of this moment it will not replace it. You'll have both.
Just need the name to fit as much as it can with your era name.
You can switch it and switch it right back on Switch with no trouble.

Did it in two tries, what happened was fucking insane wish you all could've seen it. I was using Cloud and I was at 4% while he was at around 100 but I did a finishing touch at the last second and instantly killed him. I practically shit myself right then and there 🤣
Here it is. My Switch name doesn't have the 3000 at the end but it's spelled the same way so I hope it counts!
Beat him on my first try with Terry using my forum nickname, but since Nintendo is a truly special company it took the username that I have for my console, so I had to change the settings of it so it could pick my forum name, but this time it took me 20 tries with Terry

Well this sucks. I get why, but I ain't going through the hassle of doing it again and changing the name. It was surprisingly hard with Hero. After about 20 times I got super lucky and knocked him far enough away he couldn't recover.
