It seems like a lot of people are just picking things they spot in the list of the tool. Is there no way to remove these to stop all the spoiled votes?
This was so tough to limit to just 20! So many great games this decade.
I'll throw in some comments for the few that I think are absolutely my best of the decade though.
Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are character action perfection. So fun to play, so over the top, just an absolutely fantastic time from start to finish in both games.
Fallout New Vegas takes everything good from Fallout 3 and manages to get even better. Hilarious at times, beautifully written and a well realised world. If Obsidian actually had the full amount of time to develop this game instead of just 18 months this could've been the greatest of all time.
Persona 5 is definitely one of the all time great JRPGs. A little issue with the pacing but the game itself is so fun and the relationships between the characters are great, so easy to get attached to them and love them. Made better by the incredible Persona 5 Royal, but alas as a 2020 game that version isn't eligible to vote for.
NieR: Automata is probably my absolute game of the decade though. What an experience. Thought provoking, and a game that has stayed with me ever since I first played it. Gameplay is so fun, even just movement feels brilliant. An absolute masterpiece.

9. Call of Duty Black Ops: My favorite COD. Played a ton of multi. Loved the maps.
10. Dead Space 2: Fierce fight for 10th place. Isaac wins and I miss this franchise.

2010 in the west? It's literally one of the games in the banner in the OP.
Looking at my list, I apparently like these things: FPS, RPGs, online-only games, and any combination thereof.
If I had to pick one game of the decade, it would definitely be Final Fantasy XIV. No other MMORPG since the original EverQuest has hooked me the way this one has. It's now also the one with my most played time on. Looking forward to it being a game I end up playing for a whole decade too.
All of the games that are FPSRPGs (both Deus Ex games, Prey, Skyrim) are the next up are some of my most played. Over 300 hours on Skyrim, couple hundred between the Deus Ex games, and Prey that I spent a ton of time with and will be starting a new playthrough here soon. Definitely my favorite genre outside of MMORPGs, as it combines my favorite control scheme (FPS) with my favorite game structure (RPG).
Half-Life: Alyx isn't eligible due to being released this year, so it's going to be weird to see where it falls 10 years from now. That game has been such a transformational game for me where I want everything to be in VR now. So we'll see if it starts out the new decade being the first step on that journey, or if in 10 years VR has fizzled out.

The most immersive open world game, one of the best realized stories in the medium, one of the best soundtracks, a class of its own visually at the time of the release... yeah. There were A LOT of fantastic and deserving games this decade, but there's only room for one at the top, and it is, without a shade of doubt, Red Dead Redemption 2.

So many amazing games during the last ten years. However, many of the AAA titles that I enjoyed during their times, I can't really place on the top 10 in hindsight. I don't know why that is, but I think it's probably the difference between the "safer" AAA titles and the more memorable somewhat smaller ones (still probably a few on my list are gonna be AAA titles anyway).

Oh god this looks like a mess š having a load of games that don't even count appearing in the vote list because one person made a mistake is going to cause a lot of issues (as it already has). Also not being able to edit votes? And also I don't understand why weighting has been taken out of this, it just leaves it open to a load of people coming in and making listing with little thought, unlike the other voting threads. I much preferred the old method of voting, this new tool just doesn't seem very thought out. There definitely should've been a trial run that wasn't this big.
True, but that's what the feature is there for. People will know later in the thread that there might be invalid options there, but at the moment people are going through the list and thinking "Cool I didn't know I could vote for that". Also like I said already, making this an unweighted vote is leaving it open to people just spamming their top 20 games and not paying attention to years.

Most solid shooter I have ever played, top notch action, a thrill to the end.
[x] Kid Icarus: Uprising
Probably the best game on the 3DS, Uprising has a great challenge, decent story with voice acting, and FANTASTIC responsive controls that doom this game to forever exist only on 3DS.
[x] Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Weird online mother base crap aside, MGSV is the best gameplay in the series, can't wait for a switch version. Responsible for the impulse to fulton extract every shipping container I see on the street.

What a blast, a solid, fun experience mixing cars with soccer... WHO KNEW? They did of course.
[x] Super Mario Galaxy 2
Hands down the best mario game ever made, shafted from the recent 35th anniversary collection... Galaxy 2 outshines ALL of them with its excellent level design and Incredible soundtrack. Its straight to the point map design is a BENEFIT to the game .. .not a hinderance. It took me MONTHS to play through Galaxy 1... I beat galaxy 2 in 8 days ... 3 of which were the final levels. I could not stop playing. I want MORE.
[x] The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The best departure from tradition a series has ever seen. This open world game shook the industry with its open world design and structure. Story lacking aside... it is one of the best games of this decade.
[x] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The story missing from BOTW is found here... Skyward sword has the best story of any zelda game as well as excellent dungeon design. It also gets the reward for making me LOVE a desert level which usually suck in almost every game. No the controls did not suck, no Fi wasn't that bad... yes there were a couple of weaknesses this game had but a minor flaw on an otherwise beautiful masterpiece of a game.
[x] Xenoblade Chronicles X
This is the best Xenoblade game for explorers and adventurers. Now that Xenoblade 2 has released I wish the battle system was a bit more like that BUT... The sense of scpe ans scale this game gives you is unmatched in every other open world game. You actually feel like you are flying around a planet. The areas are unique and beautiful. The soundtrack is incredible. Its only flaw is Tatsu being cooked over and over.

This game gets a lot of hate. Not from me.
If you are playing pokemon for the story then you are doing it wrong ... none of them have good stories. This weird man and his flable ble is no exception... What a stupid story ... Is a phrase you can say about every single pokemon game. This game is not on this list for stoy ... NO
This game is on here because this was the game that allowed me to become a pokemon master and get a living DEX. First pokemon in 3D, with extremely accessible pokemon Via transfers and in game catches. The music in this game is second only to Diamond and pearl. This was truly the last enjoyable pokemon game... before the dark times. This game invented wonder trades.

Completely superior to 3D world in every way ... except maybe soundtrack... 3D land has better level design , excellent replayablilty and likely saved the 3DS in it's struggling time after launch. Because the game isnt tailored to follow 4 people on screen at once... this game's level design FAR exceeds 3D world. If you die in 3D land its cause you messed up... not because of some crappy camera angle.
