And I'm struggling from laughing at the thought of how frightened these people must be; the music stopped, and they got caught sitting too close to the tyrant. Sorry you're suddenly concerned, Senator Murkowski.
It is weak sauce shit, but compared to most republicans this is actually a pretty big statement. So respect to her, I guess?

Wasn't she one of the only Republicans who denounced Trump's St. John church photo op? While everyone else was like "I'm late for lunch".
Was just about to say this. If you accept Mattis's statement as truth, it shouldn't even be a question. She will end up supporting him in the end, I would bet money on it.

We're extremely red, and she isn't even up for re-election in 2020. She'd win still.
She's not up until 2022 IIRC. She can't play the moderate in this current climate.
Murkowski should abandon Trump.
1) She's not up for re-election until 2022
2) She won her GOP primary by 71% - 15% in 2016
3) There wasn't even a Democratic candidate against her in 2016 senate election
4) If Trump loses, the GOP dumps Trumpism and if she comes out as a candidate to abandon Trump early -- especially when she's still politically young -- she can be a Republican celebrity on a 2024 Haley / Murkowski ticket.
If Trump wins, fuck it, you're still in the senate till 2022 and it's unlikely that Republicans can mount a serious primary challenge to her.
