Not only are they trying to actively steal the election, they got caught and were ordered to remove them and this criminal party flat out refused:

(CNN)The California Republican Party said Wednesday it will not comply with the state's cease-and-desist order over unofficial ballot drop boxes placed in at least four counties ahead of the November election.
The unauthorized ballot boxes, which state officials have called illegal, have been found in at least four counties across the state: Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange and Fresno.

"Ballot harvesting program will continue," California Republican Party spokesperson Hector Barajas said in a statement to CNN.

Theyre not real or legal. Get the cops to come pick them up, put the existing ballots where they belong, and then trash the box. And then charge the people violating the law.

Sadly this is what republicans are after. They want these ballot boxes to be taken away by either a civilian or the state government in order to cry out election fraud because 'republican ballots' have been stolen. Republicans are a scourge.

i think this is a play to eventually try 'ballot harvesting' in courts so it can be challenged all the way up to the supreme court. and on the way there if there's arrests made, it would be done to make it look like dems jailing political opponents.

at least, if there was a strategy, that would be it. if there isn't a strategy, then they're not removing them because they're not used to what being pushed back feels like.

For all the geniuses saying 'take out the boxes', whats happening here is falling in crazy legal gray areas because cali allows for this type of collection, but not to allow the boxes to seem official. You taking out he boxes if there are ballots in them would be fraud and just feed into Trumps shit, which is probably the plan.

It actually doesn't allow for this type of collection. It allows people to give their ballot to a specific person or official. Cali GOP is basically daring the Secretary of State to take them to court.

In this instance, it's driven by their paranoid over the actually sanctioned and overseen ballot boxes in a Democratic majority state, where in Texas, it's driven by a pure desires to suppress votes.

it doesn't allow for collections like this in these boxes. Not sure what grey area there is here?
