Has nothing to do with being cheap, and everything to do with it being unaffordable. It's not feasible to tip after three individual $4 fees, it's just not. Cut back on the fees and I'll gladly tip here and there.
Everyone keeps saying "go out and get your food" and that's moronic as shit because who wants to spend a fraction of their work appointed break traveling, waiting in lines, getting food, etc. That makes zero sense and all you guys' hot takes exhibit zero logic. These apps are designed for convenience whether you like it or not, and people are still going tip or not at their own discretion.
No, it has to do with you being cheap. If you can afford all those fees, you can afford a little extra on top. If you couldn't afford them, then you'd not be ordering from the company (sounds like regularly too). You even admitted if they started payign their workers fairly that the price would go up (and that would be a bad thing according to you). As I said, guess what? That means that is the cost of doing business. They have to make a profit themselves so they have to charge somethign that makes the service feasable. If you can't afford the full cost, then don't use their service! If a couple more bucks is going to break you, you can't afford the service. What you are doing is forcing the driver who is putting their labor and effort and all the maintainence costs to eat the cost of doing business for the honor of doing a service for you. Because you can't be bothered to pay the actual cost of delivery. That's called being cheap.
If you really thought they were too expensive, you wouldn't be using them! ANd no, you aren 't forced to use them. These are entirely optional services so quit acting like you are entitled to them. You are not.
