And you have to buy the content listed in the OP that isn't included in those. This also means you need to buy all the free content too.
I really wish Fahdi would include that you NEED TO "PURCHASE" the free DLC. All of it, included the stuff that becomes free when you buy the season pass. Buying the season pass is not enough. You will also need to manually search for the AMG expansion.
Well that's odd. I bought Driveclub VR even when I didn't own the main game. It's standalone. I'd just gotten a PSVR as a gift and I bought it on sale I think near the beginning of this year.
Thanks for the warning, on the EU store it seems I have to spend around 50€ then, ah well.
There are two items called Driveclub VR in the store. The standalone version, and the cheaper addon for Driveclub owners.
Ah I get it now! So it's:
13€ for the season-pass
10€ for the VR upgrade
15€ for Bikes
38€ to get mostly everything, hmm alright.
Oh I thought that was only for Bikes. I'm not at any disadvantage for having bought VR seperately before I bought the main game, am I?
Yeah it's the same application. I shouldn't have called it an addon, it's a discounted version really.
Well all worked out in the end I guess for everyone! I just got the season-pass and VR and will probably skip Bikes as I've tried the Bikes demo and Bikes really ain't for me.

It depends on if Sony make the hardware back compatible, or use a software solution which needs to be coded per-game like on the Xbox. If it's per-game, when the original dev no longer exists, it might never happen. And we won't know that for some time yet.

Weird, I bought the the VR season pass upgrade today from the EU store. The only difference is that I've owned the season pass for years. edit: I just double checked because it says DRIVECLUB™ VR (Full Game) in my email receipt, but the price is definitely the discounted rate so it did work.
Guess I will pick up the VR add on and the $15 or so in cars/bikes I never got before they go away just in case.

And I'll ask, is Driveclub VR actually worth it if I already have GT Sport in VR?
They've already said their next console will be Backwards Compatible.
Even so, it can't hurt to go "buy" the free stuff at very least. But yeah they said in their initial announcement it'd be backwards compatible.
Not sure I trust them, but I am going to grab the free stuff.
To have the full dlc package we have to buy the EBR liveries which are apart from the season pass and any other dlc
The GT Sport vr mode is a joke. Driveclub VR is a full game. There is a demo if you are interested. Personally I think is jem which received an unjustified shit storm like The Order 1886
Hmm alright, I guess I have to spend way more money on this than I wanted but oh well. I figured out my Season Pass VR dilemma too, apparently the discounted VR version is just for people who bought the Season Pass before some date in 2016 :/

I would say zero chance. Not only would that be highly irregular activity, like I said before the people doing the sales probably don't even know it's being delisted soon, and obviously don't care even if they do know. It should have been on deep deep sale from a month ago.

There's a tweet from Rushy (the game's director) earlier in the thread where he explains that they had a 5-year licensing deal.
It's shit that licensing issues effect racing games so often. I wonder which manufacturers insist on such short licences. I bet Ferrari is one, after what happened to Outrun 2.
Hell, you can't even change tbe color and liveries of some of the cars in the game, which is just absurd.
Have you gone to the psn website and searched "driveclub" to see if you missed anything? That's a pretty good way to stay on top of the DLC purchases, provided your logged in.
So if you got DCVR, is there any reason to get the other stuff unless you just want the DLC and what not?

There are a few cars i could buy to get them from the start, but i'll get them the regular way, over gameprogression.

I'm so sad for the fact that i can't buy DC VR cause i lost my job recently and i can't afford it, specially for how massively expensive the US dollar is here now (i'm from Argentina), Driveclub has taken a significant portion of my playtime this whole gen, one of my favorite racing games ever and the ending of it's redemption story is just sad and unfair. :(

I've got a level 35 club, Cthulhu Systems, with one spare place (just kicked a dickhead ex-friend that was still in there). I can't remember how to invite though, if somebody could remind me you can have the place.

This is giving me serious FOMO. I already have the free PS+ version and the VR version. Ugh, I hate not having the option to get something, but I shouldn't spend $45 on something I realistically probably won't ever play.
There's always a physical version that will continue to work if I somehow change my mind later, right?
