I think it went very, very light, so I just looked kinda funny lol. Also, I'm not sure, this was like 15 years ago or something. I remember my mum took a photo of me, but I can't find it these days, hopefully it turns up again at some point. I wouldn't mind having a good laugh at it.
god, I have so many photos from junior- and high school on Facebook. It's hilarious to look back sometimes. I hope you find it :)

Hey, guys! I've been a lurker for years, since the old site, and I'm happy to finally join you all. <3
Thanks for the tips, ironically I hate drawing attention to myself but I feel like shaking things up a bit.
I know exactly what you mean. I have long virgin hair and I'm thinking of doing something to it, but I'm not sure what. If you end up dyeing it, please tell us how it turns out.

Hello!

I also want pictures! That's something I've been thinking of doing to my hair so I want reference for... reasons :D

I did "oil slick" the underside of my hair and loved it but I actually wish it had been more obvious.

I forgot to put a bra on before driving to work today. It's so nice. I need to seriously think about doing this more often.

I would do it more when I go out but a majory of my tops are lighter colors/thinner fabrics and don't play very well on not being partially see-through where I don't want them to. Less of a problem in the winter though since I'm just bundled in my coat.

This is the first time I hear of that. =O It looks pretty cool! You're right, though, only doing it on the underside isn't quite as daring.
Yes, yes, be very afraid. ツ

I never wear one. Helps that I'm a small B cup.
I'm not much larger, but I do love wearing open-sided tank tops and sheer garments.

Im actually wearing white right now. It's raining lightly, so I might be in trouble :S

Ooof, good luck!

Didn't think I still had it but since the subject has been about hair colors I found an image of what my hair looked light right after getting my first dying + pink tips after being completely dark brunette last June.

I don't like the image so I just blurred it but the hair can be seen.

My current hair is a bit lighter w/o the pink tips

Yes! But don't get the kind with glue, get the kind that adheres to your skin via heat. There's only a couple like that, but they're sooo good and don't hurt your skin.
Oh. Okay. Is there are particular brand you recommend?

I found a pic of my oil slick!

Someday I will be brave enough/work somewhere cool enough to do blue/teal all over.
That's really cool!

Does your work prohibit vibrant colors? My partner worked an upscale hosting job and was told she would be let go if she dyed her hair. Such prejudice :(

I work in a corporate office with no strict rules about hair color, but I'm still wary about doing anything too obvious. Most of the office is natural or at least natural looking hair colors :( I'm a graphic designer damnit. Let me have my piercings, tattoos, and weird hair colors lol.

It becomes second nature after the first month or so. I often go days at a time without remembering that my blue hair is uncommon.

At my last job people were more likely to comment on my being barefoot than my hair color. >:D

Do want. Well, I'm only on contract so maybe the last few weeks of it I'll just go for it :P

Hi everyone, how have you been?

It's been months since I posted on forums due to circumstances (first job, getting driver's licence etc) but I hope some of you still remember me :P I've been lurking some threads (mainly gaming side) and was hoping the alerts would remain active in order to reply back once I had the time. That wasn't the case to my surprise. While I had 36 alerts, only the last 6 were shown. I'm trying to quickly go throw watched threads but I will most likely still miss some replies aimed at me. Apologies in advance.

So I've been lurking the huge thread about sexualised female characters in games and I've made it to page 30. The thread is still growing daily and I'm afraid the thread will be dead by the time I'm through all the 200+ pages. Why is this thread so active of all threads?!

"But what if she likes dressing in a bikini and heels on the battlefield?", "So you want to censor games?", "Maybe you're just jealous.", and more like minded comments over and over and over again.

The jealousy argument has to be the dumbest one of all. It boggles the mind that that's the conclusion some would come to.

I've been following that thread on and off since its creation, and it has been interesting to read the good discussions that have come from it, though.

Pirate Bae has been fighting the good fight in my overwatch league thread. So many people are thoroughly convinced that the status quo exists for good reasons, that women just aren't as good at playing games, that nothing can be done to change this perception and furthermore nothing should be done.

The willful ignorance some men display is fucking horrible.

One time, back when I used voice chat a lot, some dumb teenager called me something along the lines of "a dumb, fat cow who fucking sucks at this game, go play Mercy so you can stay healing me where you belong". This wasn't my first time hearing this, but it's memorable because I then responded with a very angry rant with several F-bombs which scared him and shut him up for the rest of the match.

Like he wasn't expecting me to throw his shit back at him and it was awesome, lol.

Oh gosh what a tool to put it lightly, glad you told him off. My inability to do so pretty much prevents me from playing games like that or voice chatting in them/similar things, being told something like what he told you probably would have just made me feel terrible and leave the group.

Annnnnd this sums up why I would never do random voice chat.

Good on you for cursing him out though.

I've always found that they usually back down immediately because they are ill-prepared for in-your-face women. They expect us to be docile and take our verbal abuse like the good little girls we are.

Fuck that.

That's pretty much why I only ever use party chat. I play video games to have fun and chill out, not to be on the receiving end of verbal abuse and sexual harassment.

Did y'all know that in Yakuza sometimes the guys rip off their shirts to fight?

Watching my husband play Yakuza 0 and there's a scene where I was like WHOA LOOK AT THAT DETAIL WHO DAT and then maybe made him replay the scene later so I could oogle over hot shirtless men.

I know the original intent is to show off the artwork of the tattoos, but .. hehehehehehehehe

Similarly the reason I really liked Sleeping Dogs. My Wei was shirtless 90% of the time.

That is also why I'm trying to get back in to Street Fighter. Even though the males have silly disproportionate anatomy, I can give my male fighter the option to wear a shirtless costume!

I had to sit through a conversation with a girlfriend (virgin) and two guy friends (one is a virgin) where the virgin guy was "explaining" to the rest of us that women's outer labia become "stretched out" like "Arby burgers" the more they have sex, and that's how you can tell.

We're all in our 30s.

He's in PA (physician assistant) school, so a med degree that makes 100k starting out.

HOW CAN PEOPLE BE SO GODDAMN STUPID.

Like seriously I'm so grateful my husband doesn't have weird dick insecurity issues where he can't handle the idea that he might be so shitty in bed that the only way he can blow my mind is if I've never had anyone else first.

Also I'm glad my husband isn't a fucking idiot.

lol

... why does he think he speaks with authority on that matter? And furthermore, why would it matter? If you can't figure out how to have fun in sex without a virgin vagina then that's a you problem, not a her problem.

Holy shit.... :\

The very definition of mansplaining. This is somehow even worse than the guy in that other thread explaining how boobs work which he knows from porn...

I have no idea. Probably because he's an idiot.

He was ALSO complaining about the women his parents try to set him up with (single, surpriseee). He doesn't want one of those "good girl Christian types."

So, he wants a hot sexy fashionable chick who keeps herself pure and virginal just for him.

He thinks he's single because he thinks he's ugly and poor.

I mean yeah ionno.

This is why I decided to never date boys from my church back when I was dating and also went to church. Nothing against religion but I'd rather not take the risk.

(Seriously through that whole dinner I just smiled and nodded and laughed politely, all the while thinking "I miss you husband.")
