I wonder how well the online is retaining players, because anecdotally it's doing much worse than the GTA Online launch at that aspect.
A better plan was needed.
10 years from now unfortunately :(
I'm not sure the 5% of the people who have a problem with the controls really make that much of a sales difference.

You knew folks were just projecting their hopes that RDR2 would underwhelm when they completely misrepresented the GTA 5 situation.
And also "it wont sell like a GTA game" when RDR1 already did.
Yeah that's me too, I dislike the controls but I love everything else, enough that it's hard to play other games without thinking that it makes every other game look rushed.Despite the issues i had with it i ended up loving it. The highs were so high that they washed away any misgivings i might have had. Great game.
Bloodborne. :o
Impressive, Rockstar did amazing work on it. They need to move it with the PC version though, I want that sweet 60fps for my second time around.
There goes my hope of this game being discounted in the future...
It was on sale on psn last week in NA as well.
No surprise. A Rockstar game will always sell. I'm not convinced it's purely because of its quality, as it does have many problems. But I'm glad all that hardwork was worth it for them.
Don't forget that infamous "Ubisoft have surpassed Rockstar " post lol. It's funny going back to the threads around the time the trailers dropped, people doubting Rockstar's marketing. I mean.. come on. Parts of this community have underestimated RDR 2 from the get go for some reason.
