If they don't fix it, I likely won't even bother finishing the game until much much later. Maybe when I can snag it on sale on the PC. From what I've played so far, the game isn't really as interesting as metacritic suggests. Also, the controls are terrible as is standard for Rockstar. I can also feel the frame drops while playing. I'm not a 60fps or nothing guy but, my minimum acceptable requirement is a locked 30fps with proper frame pacing and they can't even get that right. Let's see what happens though, maybe they'll fix it if enough people complain.
I kinda agree with voxel on this one. I've only played it on the pro where the image quality is clearly worse than the x. That being said, from what I saw and heard in part one of your video, its a good looking game. I'd say good but not ground breaking. The techniques being used have already been done by other devs and so far, it doesn't do anything new. The snow for example looks worse than that in God of War. Its a polished game from a visual perspective but the animations, while detailed are not impressive to me.
Well they're not using the PS4's API's. They can still improve on XB1's SKU and produce what we see here.
I hope so. Definitely can see how it got up to 4K on the X so far. I will say it has an amazing art style. Very cohesive. I can't wait for the clouds to show itself more prominently.
It's just bad. While in a cutscene keep an eye on the background characters and objects. There's some sort of screen door effect.
They put out some good Playstation performance patches post-launch for GTA V (which was their last game), so what makes you say that?
I've also noticed a lot of dithering/artifacts while playing. It reminded me of the terrible checkerboarding artifacts seen in cod WW2 around fire. All in all, I'm not really impressed. I really don't think it looks all that great and certainly not better than other games on the system.

Played 3 hours, Pro was not audible above ambient sound. I do have one of the better Pros, and it might get louder in CPU stressed areas though.
Consoles like to have some space around to effectively purge hot air. Moving them out of closed cabinets or TV furniture where You have a dedicated slot usually helps. My base PS4 was 10x louder in such a slot, when I moved it to place without walls on the sides it went quiet and kicked into high gear only occasionally on biggest offending games.
I am reading it right or is my brain really cloudy this morning? X1X renders twice the pixels than PS4Pro? With similar (even a tad better) performance?

Pro version is good, but I wouldn't go as far as to say the IQ is as good as Spider Man. It certainly isn't.

Game looks incredible on my 4K TV. Certainly not the sharpest game on the Pro I've played, but in motion it's pretty damn good.
The intro chapter has post process and snow up the ass so the first few screens in the snow will look extra blurry/foggy.
