Aren't all of the Outlast games in the same universe? Never played 2, only 1, but I recall someone said that to me.

They are, yes. Though you can play Outlast 2 without knowing anything about 1, it just has references.

I'm all in for Outlast 3.

Hm, looking foward to this. I liked Outlast 1 and the DLC, but the sequel was atrocious.

Hope it's a new IP though.
