Is this a thing? I have a vivid image in my mind's eye of one of these, similar to watermelon grown into cuboids. Tried looking for examples of these to no avail, and wasn't sure whether this was something I imagined.
It came up as "candy corn fudge"
It looks like it'd have really good mouth feel. Like it'd be super satisfying to bite into and chew. Like soft gingerbread. It came up as "candy corn fudge"
I didn't look into exactly what it is
Ditto. Candy corn always made me vomit as a kid.
It's simple: a corn cob in the shape of a rectangular prism

What in the Sam Hill are you talking about? You're hysterical!
EDIT:
?????
You should just drop "prism" from this sentence.
No
This gives a new meaning to the word Candy Corn...
Looks like a candy corn themed cheese square treat. Or maybe cheese cake instead based on the look of the texture.
In terms of weird plants, I swear I've seen a plant that had the general structure of a brussel sprout plant but instead of sprouts it had the fractal cones of a romanesco broccoli. I can't find that as a real cultivar on the internet but then again that was on the experimental farm plot of a nearby university so maybe the students created it.
The cones on the stems had the same helical layout as the sprouts you see there but there were larger cones along a main helix and the lines next to it were progressively smaller.
Things looked fucking alien.
