At first I was planning to go full digital but quickly realized that my SD card was not enough and the collector in me pushes me to buy physical versions because I love a good box art.
I would like to be this optimistic but it's Capcom.
They can't even afford releasing RE4 at 20 retail.
This is completely wishful thinking, but it would be awesome if that Resident Evil 4 project team from Spain got their texture mod work integrated into the digital release! The file size would be pretty massive for download, but their hard work deserves to be recognized.

Last gen they got Biohazard; this gen they seem to be getting RE due to the censorship of the Japanese versions.
Revelations 1 made it to Korea on Switch, but that game is a global SKU and has always been.

I was hoping they'd be out sooner; even though I own these games multiple times. And have the HD textures installed on the Steam version of RE4.

Nintendo used to publish their games in Europe. Then Monster Hunter World happened (or something else happened around the time when that was revealed). Now Nintendo does not publish their games in Europe.
$50. For about 300-400 hours of playtime I'd estimate.

Why am I thinking about buying these on switch even though I have these physical on ps4 and haven't beat them?

Tempted to grab it on Switch even though it'll probably be a downgrade from PS4. But RE4 is the greatest game of all time so why the hell not.
I like the Switch's little boxes (they look like Japanese Dreamcast boxes) and the idea of buying cartridges in 2019.

Physical/digital makes no difference still get to play the games my only concern now is the performance of the games, please don't stuff up these ports.
Yeah but they need to get around to that anyway at some point. Or else port it to MTF like they did for SSF4 3D and MH3U.
Not necessarily. As of now, only Division 1 is using the RE Engine. And unless they plan on porting RE7, RE2R, or DMC5 to the Switch, they could probably get by with sticking with MT Framework for games that may be Switch-bound.
A Switch port would help facilitate a path for it's successor/Pro and probably also iOS/Android. It could go either way really although I think RE7 is probably the only game that'd scale well enough for it to be worth doing on Switch 1.0 since it was pared back for PSVR spec.
Well you'll be all set for when the game scares the shit out of you.
