Saw that a while ago; freaky shit :P But yeah, that's a frog. Still, freshly killed stuff can twitch for a while.

Perhaps it is more logical that it is fake.
There are multiple videos over the past two pages of this happening with fish, octopi, squid, and frogs legs (which is what are in the video in the OP) as well as someone adding their experiences working at a slaughterhouse and seeing it happen with lamb. It's a common thing that you can even do yourself at home. It's not like people are claiming it's a fuckin' ghost, it's just some nerve endings misfiring.

Okay but it's totally a ghost.

Normally you eat the ghost, but this is what can happen when it's channeling a lot of ki. Interesting fact: if you could eat meat without ghost, it would lose all nutritional value. This is why occult practitioners use salt to trap spirits. It's all just fringe science.

Plants have ghosts too, btw. It's not cruel to eat them, it's the circle of life, although we don't know if they experience pain. Every sperm and unfertilized egg also contains a ghost, and they combine during pregnancy, but they can be split:

The miracle of life is just an series of chemical reactions that we are all too dumb to comprehend.

That can't be real? Can it?
Yes, it can. It's a well documented phenomena and there are several videos of it happening to multiple other animals in this thread. Just a chemical reaction causing nerves to misfire after death. Think "running around like chickens with their heads cut off" but on a smaller scale. Some dishes are prepared specifically to make it happen, like with octopus. Super freaky looking though right??

I've personally done the dancing frog legs with salt thing after a night of frog gigging at a pond, it's really cool. Sodium is one of the main chemical signals telling muscles to flex so even after the animal is dead the muscles can still work if they contact sodium.

Gotta be a doctored video. You mean to tell me they just so happen to be taking a video of this right before it happens? Gimme a break.
