Just announced on show to be releasing in launch window of PS5! Sooner than I expected. I guess February/March or so with Miles Mores this holiday.
Looks like it is based on a newer build.
Personal opinion:
I know Insomniac are pushing what the engine can do but I feel that at times there are too many objects and particles on screen.

OK, so it's connected to the original storyline, not the reinterpreted one. Cool.

I love R&C but it's really weird to see so much gameplay of a game coming later.
Visually it looks beautiful.
Regarding the praise of the SSD.. most of the time it seems you'e only jumping across the same map. Not even large sections of it.
The scripted sequences which look impressive but are basically masking load time of the next section. I'm open to correction but that's what it looked like to me.

Yup. I'm generally okay with 30fps, but Ratchet and Clank just feels wrong running like that.
It looks so nice (though the rtx reflections look a little rough). AND it's launch window, so we get to play it soon!

This game looks amazing, most next gen looking game that's been shown so far by both console makers.
Sounds like a Q1 2021 title to me.
You gotta remember that Insomniac has another game coming for launch and also that there are potentially two other platformers releasing for launch.
Yeah, this is a bigger relief to me than the launch window tbh.
