That's fine as long as you completely forgot about fasting. But yeah, people tend to forget about fasting in the first few days of Ramadan, especially if you're in a non-fasting environment.Ramadan Mubarak!
Already absent-mindedly ate a banana after a long meeting 😔. Was about to make a Tuna sandwich before realising what I had done.
I unfortunately had to break my fast due to bad fever as a side effect of 1st vaccine dose....blah. feelsbadman. Had to take motrin to get it under control.
Medicine you swallow breaks the fast. You can pay to feed the hungry for this Ramadan instead of fasting. So can someone educate me when it comes to taking medicine? I have to take two pills daily at specific times. I'll admit; I can deal with taking the pills having not eaten, but swallowing them without water is hard. I guess taking the pills should be ok by themselves but even a tea spoon of water to wash it down is a no no?

Anyone doing virtual taraweeh? You can follow along at home, right? I know East London mosque does their prayers live and wondering if they're doing taraweeh.
I was wondering how does congregation in household work, like wouldn't someone in the house need to basically do it all with surahs or can another imam's taraweeh be used live and the congregation in house is following along?Difference of opinions on it, but usually virtual following is not allowed or advised for numerous reasons; of delay, mistakes, transmission issues, time differences and fundamentally, you aren't physically congregating as it _should_ be. There's a decent argument against it from Mufti Menk I recall seeing a while ago.
Hold your congregation with the household members if you can, that's the safest option if you can't make taraweeh at the mosque.
Yeah. A local mosque in my area last ramadan said that you are not suppose to follow them when they are praying but you can listen to their lectures.Difference of opinions on it, but usually virtual following is not allowed or advised for numerous reasons; of delay, mistakes, transmission issues, time differences and fundamentally, you aren't physically congregating as it _should_ be. The vast majority of tawareeh prayer is similar to an ordinary prayer but there is typically an extra two rakah's that they pray after they complete the tawareeh prayer where they read some of the beginning Surah. I suggest your family listen to the Iman when he is talking but to pray on your ownI was wondering how does congregation in household work, like wouldn't someone in the house need to basically do it all with surahs or can another imam's taraweeh be used live and the congregation in house is following along?

hmm.. I can't provide an expert level opinion, but anecdotally may I ask if her sleep was affected at all? I think I drank one glass of water the first night but it took a while to fall asleep after ceri, and I think that's what led to headaches for me.My girlfriend is fasting and is getting some dehydration headaches in the afternoon. Is there anything she can do to offset this, (besides just drinking more water when she's able)?
My mum was getting this so she had a nap and was fine after, so maybe she needs some rest? Is she working while having the headaches? Could be due to screens? Just take more breaks than usual, once every hour of screen time. If not work related, turn off lights and nap.My girlfriend is fasting and is getting some dehydration headaches in the afternoon. This is so cute. Thanks for sharing!Gonna keep to exercising before iftar, that fasting window of 15.5 hours is beneficial.

Last year didn't fly by for me particularly and I think it's probably just because of the drag that was the year 2020Yep agreed The Artisan - extremely fast year. Last year was odd too for me though
