Yeah, a wuxia game game from Ubisoft would be amazing.Ubisoft making a Journey-to- the-West inspired game, but it's not a Ubisoft-style huge open medieval Chinese fantasy world. :(
Gotta bait them fans of Rabbids Go Home Wii game.
Yep. Low risk looking at this game's production value. High reward potential. So, Ubisoft is trying to be on Switch with content specifically targeted at the Chinese audience once Switch sees an official release in China. Not a bad move, I suppose.
I first thought it says "Ubisoft announces new Mario + Rabbids game" :(
I would be dead now if that was the case, thank you.Should've called the thread Ubisoft announced a new Rayman game.

Is Rabbids cartoon supposed to be popular in China?I wonder how many kids will say "Hey they made a video game of my favorite TV show!"
rabbids existed before minions, if anything minions copied rabbids.
I got too excited at this as wellI first thought it says "Ubisoft announces new Mario + Rabbids game" :(

Dont expect it to come out of chinaSo, Ubisoft is trying to be on Switch with content specifically targeted at the Chinese audience once Switch sees an official release in China. Not a bad move, I suppose.
Just a quick note. The game seems to be China only for now, to support the launch of Switch in China.
No news on a Western release.

Given the target audience, Ubisoft may not see the skinning as approachable from a marketing perspective.why are people saying not to expect this to be released outside of china? would it be hard for ubisoft to localize this? a party game for switch with rabbids would do well everywhere.
We'll see. Localization costs should be slim and I don't think branding it as "Rabbids' Journey to China" would cause much of an issue in the west.
