If there are 2 pairs of identical twins, and they get married (so Male A/Female A is one couple, MaleB/FemaleB is the other), and both have children, could you genetically tell which set of parents the child comes from?

What if one of them were unfaithful at one point, could you tell if MaleA were the father of both kids?

paternity tests are pretty basic and not great. they really only test a few markers so with that the answer would be almost certainly no

if you had the time and money you could sequence the kid and the two twins and in theory tell which one was the father yes

the twins are identical when they split but it doesnt take long for changes to start occuring and it only takes a few changes in the germ line (your sperm or ova dna) to be passed on and you could use those to identify
