Are we sure? Could the XSX upgraded version have RT? 120hz support?
Cool, now that we've got all the Dooms and Quake with new ports, how about we get Heretic, Hexen, and Hexen 2 please. Please???
if you're hyped for this, you should grab their Turok 1 and 2 remasters. So good.Nightdive on Doom64 last year and Quake this year.
Nightdive da gawds.
It literally says on the gamepass page for PC.Fuckin hell. Was excited for nothing. They just confirmed it's not for PC.
Did you hear that it was changed? Steam still hasn't been updated so I can't check.
Unfortunately you gotta talk to Activision about those.
And they're only interested in Calla Dooty these days.

The PS5/Series X patch is coming later and those details aren't known yet, so if ray tracing were to happen, it would happen when those versions get released and it wouldn't be listed in the current description. The PlayStation page even explicitly mention that it's running in backwards compatibility mode at the moment.
Do they? I mean, id Published them, and they run on the Doom and Quake engines. To my knowledge, the only thing Activision has to do with Heretic/Hexen/Hexen 2 is now owning Raven, who developed them. I mean, the games are even included in the id collection on Steam.Unfortunately you gotta talk to Activision about those.

lol me too, as soon as I saw this thread checked the game on steam and bought it.They just increased the game's price on Steam from $4.99 to $9.99. I got it at $4.99 at the last possible second it seems lol.
If I had to guess, it's being taken down briefly to update the store page.
Some people reported not seeing Quake on Steam anymore. I see it on Quakecon page on Steam (probably because I own it) - notice it's not on sale.
Rumor is they are also working on a new game
I would absolutely support this.

On planet Stroggos where it belongs.
Steam store page has been updated to reflect the remaster: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2310/QUAKE/
Patch is out on Steam, the store page has been updated accordingly, and the base price has been bumped up to USD$9.99 (as expected).
I didn't know Quake had a campaign, always thought it was mp. I'll have to check it out.
The campaign is quite good. Definitely play it.I didn't know Quake had a campaign, always thought it was mp. I'll have to check it out.
I played it on Xbox just now and it seemed like enemies weren't gibbing. Maybe it only happens with stronger weapons now?Did you hear that it was changed? Steam still hasn't been updated so I can't check.
