Doesn't seem to work for me. I click add to account and I just get:

There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account.
I got the same. Will try again later. It's a great game for anyone who hasn't played it already for sure.

I wish you could add free to play games to your account. I can't play now cuz of work but I always forget to go back and play them unless I can add it to my account.
That game looks cool though, so this is my mental note to go back to it.
Even when boot it up, even initiating the install thing doesn't work. I have to tell it to actually start downloading. Then uninstalling it removes it from my library.
EDIT: now I can't reinstall it. The home page says it's already in my library, but now it's not there in my library. wtf.
I'd say these types of games definitely don't qualify as "add to your account and keep forever."
Not working for me either. I'm trying to get it for my son's account but no dice.

No Guacamelee free on Steam it seems like. One report I saw said "until supplies run out", which would explain it.

Had the same problem. Disabled my Adblocker, tried again, and came through.
EDIT: Both times from the website, did not try from the app.
I have Origin Access and I could add it just fine, you have to select the buy option in the store.
Yeah, looks like they fixed it now.
I never had installed it, but it forced me Origin Access version (Digital Deluxe).

Sweet, was able to get Sims 4 with no problems. Got Grid 2 and App Game Kit.
Origin only lets me gift Sims 4. I don't have the game or Origin Access, and I can't gift it to myself. What am I doing wrong?
I see the ad saying the game is free for a limited time. But I also get the 2,39€, so I'm either really late or really early.
Had this issue, seemed to be related to me switching my EA profile region to Belgium to avoid loot boxes in Apex's Battle Pass. Switched back to US and all worked as expected
Sims 4 purchase now works for me. For those still having trouble: instead of clicking the big orange "GET NOW" button, click the text above it that says "Download for free for a limited time".

You can download it DRM free from Humble, or you can have a steam key for $1.
Chex Quest has been free to download forever, the reason Twitter's going crazy is that Chex basically acknowledged Chex Quest 3 (made after the fact by some ex-CQ 1+2 devs) as an official product now.
