Welcome to the dark side man, ive been a PlayStation guy all my life, but I can't deny I'm probably gonna pick up a Series X whenever Avowed or Starfield come out. Real exciting time for sure.

No one knows when the embargos end. It would be nice if Sony announced a schedule, but it's a mystery right? First impressions are likely next week but some of the tweets seem to indicate that it will be similar to Xbox in that there are different embargo levels/dates for different features.

Pretty sure breaking it apart isn't in the embargo process. 😆
I'd guess he was given one by someone he knows at one of the retailers, considering the accessories are being sent earlier to people who have pre-ordered them.

That was Jeff Gerstmann. Jeff Bakalar is on the Beastcast, not the OG

edit: unless Bakalar also went on a rant on the Beastcast - I haven't listened to this weeks show yet
