I should add that any bugs that existed on PS4 still exist on PS5 as you probably know!
Fralia Gray-Mane T-posed into the sky as I was leaving the bannered mare and then fell from a hundred feet or so and died :(
I had to go back an hour or so in my saves. So, since it is Skyrim, save often!

edit: as the list grows into the hundreds, are their any plans to turn it into a searchable list - like a google sheet?

LOL. Pour one out for Fralia.

Maybe upload a short clip of the game on PS5, the system can capture 4k 60.

Okay I grabbed a short clip. It only captured @ 1080P 60 for some reason? Maybe it's still processing the higher quality versions? Excuse the absolute shit quality. This was direct upload from the PS5 and it looks like ass. Also checked what the last update was for the game and it's reporting the 12th. So Maybe I'm just crazy, unless the game is uncapped?

The video takes a while to process, so its normal. But also the video is private right now, so no one can view it. Try making it unlisted or public.

Could you upload a video showing the difference? Previously it was reported both modes were 60fps, I'd like to see if that was mistaken.

If it's like PS4 you may also be able to upload straight to Facebook. But that's no better than Twitter. USB drive is really the only way to go.
I recorded a video of it playing on the PS5.

Bout to pull the trigger on Ghost of Tsushima. Just to confirm, this enhancement gets pretty much universal praise, right? Almost 4K with 60 FPS and HDR correct?

how do you manually record?

edit: oh wait, is that just a long hold on the button where it gives you the option to save a 15s, 30s clip and lets you choose the resolution? Does it automatically record at the framerate of the footage?
Hit create, then the left option is "Start a new recording" and it lets you set options for it.

That looks like 30fps. The motion blur does a pretty good job at making it look smoother.

For reference, here's the PC version running at 60fps.

Any update on NHL 21? FPS bump?

Not a massive difference from my perspective (But I'm no pixel counter or somebody like that) since it already had good loading and for the most part ran smooth. The screen tearing during crowd shots during stoppage of play that would happen sometime is gone so it smooths that out. The menus are smoother which for me as a HUT player has been big since it helps with snipes on the auction house not having the menu/input delay. I think load times are slightly better but again they were already good so it isn't like Madden where it is much better. I also think the loads create a slight problem though online since it doesn't wait for both players to load before putting you into the game so initially you get a delay as to when you can skip the opening presentation and then you get a blank black screen while it synchronizes you with your opponent. Have not tried franchise mode or anything to see if there is an improvement to the speed of things like simming through a season.

has anyone tested Immortal Unchained? It had severe frame drops in the second level that made me abandon playing it on PS4 but if it's even a steady 30fps on PS5, I'd like to revisit it. I'll give it a try later if no one else does.

I just tried it out and it is indeed 60fps. Very smooth, but the main character you control has some jittery animation but its not bad at all. Resolution looks like 900-1080 dynamic but its a locked 60 frames tho.

Fantastic. I'll head to the place in the second area where grenades/explosives would cause the base PS4 to hit single digit FPS and see how that goes....

I could just try it myself since I reviewed the game eons ago, but by sheer curiosity has anyone tried The Last Tinker?

Game had all sorts of framerate/tearing issues. I'm curious if it all magically got fixed on PS5.

I don't recall playing Dishonored Remastered or whatever it's called on PS4, so can't compare, but I got curious so popped in my Disc and gave it a go - load times seem pretty good. It is installed on the internal storage so probably why but yeah locked 30 and pretty good load times means here I go killing no one and save scumming again so I remain a ghost.

What about the stage loading in front of your eyes? Still happen?

Oh, there's still plenty of pop-in, weird texture shit, and I saw some nasty animation stuttering throughout your first face-to-face with Saw on Kashykk. Brute force hardware can't totally fix a buggy-ass game. But hey, 60 FPS!

Quick question for FF7R on PS5 does it automatically use the 1620/30 settings from PS4 Pro or do you have to manually set that up? Confused on what Force in OS is

I just hooked up my PSVR there and tried out Blood and Truth. Definitely feels and looks a bit better which is nice. No surprise there.

But I also checked out Beat Saber and felt like it was cleaner. This could totally be me just thinking it looks better on the new thing. Has anyone been able to run any tests or have the devs mentioned any updates?

For 60fps on Monster Hunter World, does it matter the mode? There are a few modes and are all of them 60fps locked?

I've been playing Yakuza 4: Remastered and everything seems to work fine. The initial load from the main menu to gameplay is lightning fast, although everything else seems mostly the same as the PS4.

So ghostbusters must run on the ps5 in ps4 base mode settings as the option to run in 4k mode is now gone.
Are you hooked to a 1080p or 4K display? Does changing the OS Game Preset affect anything? Would you be able to post some 4K screenshots (even if the game is 1080p) so I can check them?

I recorded a video of it playing on the PS5.
And this is with Hellblade set to the resolution mode, correct?

I just tried it out and it is indeed 60fps. Very smooth, but the main character you control has some jittery animation but its not bad at all. Resolution looks like 900-1080 dynamic but its a locked 60 frames tho.
Would you be able to save a couple screenshots to USB and upload them from your PC? I'd like to pixel count if possivle.

Anyone tested Jedi: Fallen Order?
It's listed in the OP.

I could just try it myself since I reviewed the game eons ago, but by sheer curiosity has anyone tried The Last Tinker?

Game had all sorts of framerate/tearing issues. I'm curious if it all magically got fixed on PS5.
If you do test, please post video and/or screenshots if you can. This is the type of game not many people will have, so opportunities are low.

"Force in OS" only applies to PS4 Pro. As far as I can tell, PS5 supersamples everything. You only have to select modes if there's a menu in the game.

For 60fps on Monster Hunter World, does it matter the mode? There are a few modes and are all of them 60fps locked?
For the OP list, each line under a platform heading is a different user-selectable mode. For MHW, all of them are locked 60fps. (This isn't true of every game.)

The next update will be within 24 hours, about another 20 games:to add. Thanks for everyone's help!

You have to manually capture, and change to WebM to get the 4k60

Tried a few more tonight (and grabbed pics, I'll post them later).

Xenon Racer - Now quality mode runs @ locked 60fps (so does performance mode obviously). Loads more quickly.

Effie - runs like on a PS4 Pro (unstable capped 30fps)

Sayonara Wild Heart - locked 60fps

Deadlight Director's Cut - locked 60fps

Thanks for this thread. Does anyone know if there's a list like this one, but for loading times? Trying to figure out which games are worth putting on the SSD.

I think loading is pretty much improved on all games. But for games like Persona 5 where the loading isn't the issue as much as the many different screens you have to click through the gains ain't all that pronounced. So Prey, Red Dead, etc, you see significant improvements. But I haven't come across a source for load times expect in tangent when discussing graphical improvements.
