I ran the first level, movement still feels sluggish, though slightly better than what I remember on PS4. I didn't run into any kind of graphical glitches that I could tell either. Seems much the same as it was on PS4, which was a not great port of a not great PS2 collection.

OMG, thanks a bunch guys!! Looks like it works just the same as on PS4. Seems weird this was one of the "bootable" only games on the list. This is the only game I have listed as that heh.

I did last night but for whatever reason my video didn't upload, I'll try again.
I only recorded the boot up with like a minute or 2 of gameplay, very early on in the game.
Forgot the controls so I'm just spamming buttons trying to attack lol. Will post it once it's loaded.

Thanks so much! It looks fairly stable. I lol'd when you jumped instead of grabbing loot in that first fight because that happened to me all the damn time back when I played. It's a lovely game but it has some... eccentricities...
No worries. Yeh the controls were a bit weird. I feel like when I do decide to ever play the game properly I'll have to start from the start because I was totally lost from a story and controls perspective xD
I honestly can't go back to graphics mode.
The game feels awful at 30fps. I can't believe I endured that on base PS4.
And I can't really tell a difference with visuals when playing between performance/graphics, you'd only really be able to tell if you're zooming into things.

Crash 4 is fine, runs at 60fps locked. CTR runs at 30fps locked I assume, no performance mode iirc
What settings do you change again? I want to upload some games too so you guys can watch. 😀
Sony could potentially fix it themselves by implementing a specific fix for it within their BC solution.

It should be formatted as exFAT, not FAT32. The max file size on exFAT is bigger than the total storage size of any storage device supported by the PS5, so you're good on that front :)

What about Wipeout the omega collection, it feels considerably smoother but I don't know if it's my imagination?

That image shows FAT32, which I think has a 4GB file size cap.

I was under the impression the game was ready 4k60fps locked on PS4 Pro? It is a boost over regular PS4's 1080p@60fps though.
Here's some Sakura Wars gameplay on PS5.
I timestamped it to a moment that I think was losing some frames on PS4, even PS4 Pro.
As you can see it's pretty much locked here.
Also some more tips:
- The game with the PS5 Auto-HDR kinda looked worse IMO so I had to turn it off
- At first there was no audio in some of the CGI cutscenes but I fixed this by going into the PS5's audio settings and changing

Depth of Field; With it enabled, the "camera" can imitate how the lens focuses on an object at a specific distance. So for example, objects in the background or foreground can (intentionally) be blurred. This can achieve a more "cinematic" look, particularly in cutscenes.
Photo example: (DoF on left, no DoF on right)
For an eSports title, this effect would be disabled by competitive players. However it's great as an immersive effect, particularly in cinematic games.

There's one level near the end of Last Guardian that cannot be completed when running at 60fps on PS5 on software 1.00 that's on the disc! I had to upgrade to the latest patch to progress the game.

The level with the black liquid orb you need to climb above the structure. The liquid expands too quickly on PS5 at 60fps or was slowed down by a later patch
can't prove it as i didn't really time it pre-patch but the latest patch of Age of Wonder: Planetfall seems to make loading from save faster

Which of the two modes am I supposed to pick for The Last Of Us remastered? I think it's supposed to be 1080p/60fps or 4k/30fps, but wouldn't the latter be boosted to 60 fps on the PS5? Sorry I did try to google this.
