No glitches? I was getting glitches on Manhunt and just assumed all of the PS2 Classics would be a bit broke.
I probably spent 20 min total; I can look a bit more thoroughly?

I'd like to hear about any issues. What was the problem?Do we post issues we're having with BC here as well, or do we have a thread for that? I've had two issues with Overwatch on PS5 in the two hours I've played that I've never had in the 1,700 hours I've played on PS4.
Is there any way you could post some PS5 screenshots? I'd love to compare to existing PS4 shots.I swear, Disgaea 5 looks better than it did on a PS4 PRO. Go and look for yourself. It's the most improved title that I have found.
Yes. I believe the PS5 upgrade to be released in a couple weeks will change it to native, though. So Destiny 2 is 4k checkerboarded right? I noticed it has some occasional fuzzy distortions on some objects and models.
Would you be able to post some screenshots of Twisted Metal Black from your PS5?60fps, 1080 thanks to upscaling, joystick-centric controls, and co-op campaign? It's still a good'n.
It's in the OP. I haven't seen anything over 60fps.How does Resident Evil 2 Remake run on the PS5?
Is the FPS ever higher than 60 FPS? Because if so, the knife will be OP.
A bigger percentage have problems than for PS4 native games, but it's still a minority. The ResetEra user andshrew has provided a great tool where you can look at how Sony classes games behind the scenes. His searchable database is here. Games listed with PS5 status "compatible" should be free of BC errors. No glitches? I was getting glitches on Manhunt and just assumed all of the PS2 Classics would be a bit broke.

Hellblade has some graphical glitching in it that I didn't see in the PS4/Pro version. Another video going up tomorrow (done a Borderlands one today) then I'm going to try and enjoy the rest of the launch period for a bit :)
Golly, Infamous SS has aged like fine wine. Even coming off Miles Morales, the high-res PBR assets, particle effects and performance capture all upscale beautifully!
I didn't want to overburden the entry with specifics, but people may be interested in the detail of Final Fantasy XIV. The stress test I saw was the Bozjan Southern Front critical engagement against the Red Chocobo. With 24 players and all visual effects on, in the heat of the fight the lowest framerate I saw was 45fps. I don't know if there are any known worse areas for performance, but this seemed pretty heavy. All the other footage I saw was solid 60fps.
Player's choice, and I see you've already been busy. Thanks for these!Try and stop me! I'm working for a few, but I'll grab a couple. Got a certain vehicle/level combo you'd like to see?
Imgur is bad for large files (it recompresses them). I'd prefer lensdump.com, imgbb.com, abload.de. There may be other better hosts as well.
Yes there is, check a look.
No problem. Do you happen to know if there are other areas/fights with worse performance historically?

Any other PS2 titles you'd like to see? I own 30+ of them on PS4/PS5.
Fun is plenty good reason enough, but I do actually use them for analysis. I pixel count to see what actual resolution is running. (These remasters say 1080p on the PS Store, but are using subpixel supersampling to achieve that, and are all actually a little bit different.)Noted. I'll try and post these on one of those services. Are these getting used in some sorta BC reference capacity or just to make the thread funner?
Anything that's not already in the OP list, yeah!Any other PS2 titles you'd like to see? I own 30+ of them on PS4/PS5.
Sure, as a paid remaster like GTAV.I'd just like to say I also would love RDR2 at 60 fps
Chances for this to happen gotta be pretty high though no? Just a matter of time
Great news. Was wondering about this game. Thanks. For the 3 or so people that probably have the game on this site, City Shrouded In Shadow is basically locked 60fps even when a bunch of dust and fire is onscreen. Given that the game was sub 30 most of the time on PS4 I'd say that's a huge leap. Now if only I could play without using a camera translator :(

Whatever's easiest for you. Thanks so much!Cool. If it's easier for you, I can Dropbox you recordings/captures for the next few.
I do intend to include PSVR BC titles here too--there's one in the list already. I just don't have enough entries to make a separate section yet.Would having a separate thread for psvr performance be too niche/ take away from this thread?
Is there any way you could post 60fps footage to Youtube? The game on PS4 had complex details (30fps most fights, unstable 60fps traversal, 60fps school stuff), so I'd like to really dig in on PS5 before adding.Played a few hours of Blue Reflection earlier and it seems to be smoother and holding that 60fps compared to the ps4 version.
Great to hear it!As an update to my previous post about Catherine: Full Body, I uninstalled and reinstalled it after the PS5 system update and it seems to work just fine now! Uninstalling didn't work before, so I assume the update must have done something that fixed it.
Fired it up and flew around for a quick cycle last night. It's still locked at 30, but it seems completely solid, I didn't notice the occasional dips I did previously (though I only played a few hours on PS4 originally and wasn't aware of any particular rough spots).
Sorry if it has been asked, how does wipEout Omega Collection run on PS5? Load times?

But I have no issue if you'd like to make a separate thread focused just on VR. I can pull data from there too.
it runs at a locked 60, not sure on the resolution but its definitely higher than the 1080p on base PS4.Sorry if it has been asked, how does wipEout Omega Collection run on PS5? Load times?
You forgot to do the 120fps mode on Borderlands 3.
The PS5/Series X versions of BF3 run at 120fps in Performance Mode.
Also if possible could you do Saints Row 4 & Saints Row 3 on next gen? Both have uncapped framerates so they should be at 60fps now.
