PS3 in 2013 had God of War Ascension, The Last of Us, Puppeteer, Sly 4, Beyond Two Souls. Then there was the third party lineup in 2013 which was quite frankly absolutely ridiculous. PS3 went out with a bang.
Yeah, I think it was partially down to just how long the 7th console generation was compared to this one. Devs were really starting to push up against hardware limitations by that point, and eager to move on.Yeah, much stronger than what I remember from the PS3's last year.
It will be an update for GTS.
how i wish the early years of a console looked like this instead of its last
By the time new consoles arrive, this cycle will have been just as long. The half-steps have thrown off peoples' perception.Yeah, I think it was partially down to just how long the 7th console generation was compared to this one. This right here, the PS4 will still be a standard for many people. Until they upgrade to PS5, or Xbox Two.
wow if true that's pretty crazy since we have only seen the gameplay of it once last year at e3 right?
It makes me wonder what they're planning for the PS5 launch.
Xbox has Halo Infinite and (probably) Forza MS 8.
Sony at this point will have Ghost (maybe, unless it release earlier) and possibly HZD2?
OP, you forgot Predator.
Well, every PS4 game will be on PS5 day 1.
But exclusive for PS5, I bet in Horizon ZD 2.
A 4K 60 FPS patch will make more sense.
I'm going to hazard a guess that Dreams is DEFINITELY cross platform, and Last of Us 2 & Death Stranding are almost definitely cross platform.
I hope the devs from Ghost of Tsushima played Sekiro, for inspiration and perspective mostly.Death Stranding in November
Dreams probably earlier
Last of Us Part 2 in Feb
Final Fantasy VII remake in March
Ghost of Tsushima rumored in May
I am probably excited most about Death Stranding and Dreams in this list.
Then there is all the multiplats likey Cyberpunk2077 and others . It is looking to be an insane send off for the console. Are you happy with this lineup for presumably the last year where the PS4 will be the centre of attention era?

I'm down for that.
Sony is great at this, last gen we had TLOU, GOW:A from them as well as stuff like Rain and Puppeteer. But it's insane this time, we could have four of the best game of the generation in less than a year.
I rarely buy at launch, so will most likely play these on PS5. 😎I guess most of these will end up being cross gen, would anyone wait to play them on PS5?
