I'm glad they're fixing IX on all platforms, but if they keep the VII port on PS4 I'm going to laugh. What a terrible company.
Really glad they patched that, but the lack of analogue movement remains a huge issue. I hope they're finally working on a fix for that too.
Nah, they want you to buy the Remake, so they will never patch FF VII on PS4.
Not sure if you've already been told but 7 has been patched already on Switch and X
I know it's missing the 360-degree movement from the original PS1 version. Can only move in eight directions with the analog stick.
So they know how to communicate to customers that they're working on an update for a game on other platforms? That's good, but seems to make it a dire situation for getting updates for their various games with issues or lack of features added in future ports of games.
I've been playing IX on Xbox and never realized it had this bug. I guess I'll wait for the fix to continue. Is this bug present on any other FF? I own them all on Xbox and I'd love to know.
It was in FFVII but was recently fixed on Switch and Xbox One.
I'm more annoyed by the blurry backgrounds myself. Ideally, they'd add AI enhanced backgrounds - but even 240p sourced originals would look better against the higher poly character models than the vaseline filter.

I just checked on my Switch, still version 1.0.0 with no update available :-/

Cool! Where do you live? I guess the patch just isn't available everywhere yet.
I'm glad the music bug is fixed but I still won't be playing this until the analog is fixed, which is probably never. I was so so disappointed when I bought this and settled in the play it and it all my muscle memory of playing this went out the window and Zidane walks around like an idiot when I'm trying to move him. Maybe a minor issue but it's really the only thing bugging me enough to prevent me from playing.
You're not alone, FF9 is my favorite game and I will still boot up my PS3 just to play the PS1 Classic version.
The music glitch killed my replay for these games so now I think I'm finally ready to dive back in.
This is what kills it for me. A lot worse than the music issue.
Yeah, tbh the music bug in this and 7 never really bothered me because I tend to play games without sound when handheld anyway. Again, very happy they are fixed (especially in 7, because there are certain scenes where i absolutely gotta crank the volume up), but it doesn't affect actual gameplay.
