I just noticed this on my Facebook-wall:
So other versions will follow. Sorry if this was already posted.
I know it's missing the 360-degree movement from the original PS1 version. Can only move in eight directions with the analog stick.Beaide the sound bug, what other thing ff9 is missing? Im waiting for the complete bug free edition before buying it
Is still really a big issue??I know it's missing the 360-degree movement from the original PS1 version. Can only move in eight directions with the analog stick.
I've been playing IX on Xbox and never realized it had this bug. I guess I'll wait for the fix to continue. Is this bug present on any other FF? I own them all on Xbox and I'd love to know.
As usual this makes me sound insane, but I don't want to play this version because the font is horrible and I miss the old font.
Kudos for finally fixing that bug, though.
pleeeaase let me have black borders, i assume the weird fog .jpg ones will burn in on an OLED tv
OMG Square what the fuck are you doing!!They... took the borders from the steam version, rotated them and stretched them... for no good reason.

Seriously... what gives?
On FFIX as well?
Don't remind me. I noticed this from the very beginning and it slowly drives me insane.They... took the borders from the steam version, rotated them and stretched them... for no good reason.

I just wrote in to tech support a couple days ago asking about ff7's music loop and got a weird response:
"That information has not yet been announced or we are not able to comment at this time. Please stay up to date on our website (http://na.square-enix.com) for up to date information on our titles (both current and upcoming). We apologize we cannot assist further at this time"
Optimisticly, that sounds a bit like 'it's in cert' to me.
Could you let us know the version number of the patch?

I'm glad the music bug is fixed but I still won't be playing this until the analog is fixed, which is probably never. I was so so disappointed when I bought this and settled in the play it and it all my muscle memory of playing this went out the window and Zidane walks around like an idiot when I'm trying to move him. Maybe a minor issue but it's really the only thing bugging me enough to prevent me from playing.
Yeah, tbh the music bug in this and 7 never really bothered me because I tend to play games without sound when handheld anyway. Again, very happy they are fixed (especially in 7, because there are certain scenes where i absolutely gotta crank the volume up), but it doesn't affect actual gameplay. This is what kills it for me. A lot worse than the music issue.
