I just saw this post on twitter and my mind is blown. I had no idea any of these were a thing. Anyone have any others?
Seriously? Y'all didn't know this? I was hoping to learn something new in this thread but I've known this for a while. There's a prompt for the hidden trophy thing! How do you miss that? You don't need extra button presses, it just clearly says "show (square)".
How did y'all not know about the trophy one? If you click on a hidden trophy smack dab in the middle of the screen it says "show hidden information"
Here's one that some of my friends weren't aware of - If you press the home and square buttons at the same time you can zoom in. It helps for reading smaller text sometimes.
This works on the dashboard and in game.

If I recall, you might need to enable a system setting to be able to use it. But yeah, it's pretty cool.WHAT..... NO WAY? i would have needed this about 5000 times. thanks, i need to try this asap when i get home.
All that Waldorf Astoria bandwidth gone to wasteThat trophy one is definitely a mind-blower. I've been looking up trophy lists online to figure out what the criteria I was missing was.
I have used this one, but 10 seconds is way too long. It's faster to just turn off the controller through the menu. I have no idea why it can't be 5 seconds. You can hold the PlayStation button down for 10-second and it'll turn off the controller.
Pretty sure the hidden trophy one wasn't always available. It's very useful though.
