The Games of a Generation promotion launches on PlayStation Store Wednesday, September 30, giving you the chance to discover some of the best gameplay experiences PS4 has to offer. That includes this year's acclaimed open world samurai epic Ghost of Tsushima, which slashes a staggering 25% off its digital RRP.

Also curious what the deal for Jedi Fallen Order will be. October looks like till be pretty slim for me, so I could use something to play.

Might have to bite on GoT at that price. But I do have a backlog, plus I need to buy 3 PS5 launch titles. Decisions, decions.

Agree with everyone here. Especially if Sucker Punch is planning on remastering a 2 month old game in the future for PS5. Hopefully we find out about those plans before October 14th. If there is a good upgrade path I'll buy it if not I will wait for a PS5 version if that ever happens

People keep talking about Ghosts, but honestly I don't feel comfortable buying any of those games until I know more about the PS4 to PS5 transition

Ghost has a 30 fps lock so not sure what people are looking for playing it on the PS4 unless they're looking for a native PS5 announcement for it. I suppose a res update.

Jeez. That'll mean 4 separate sales going on at the same time for a brief period, until the 1st, when the Double Discounts and Games under $20 sales stop. If they're like this now they look to be really gearing up for Black Friday, or at least you'd hope so...

Couldn't they release a patch for PS5 only to take care of this? We probably don't know that for now but might as well just ask.

If I get Tsushima, I can play on PS5 enhanced? Or would that be an additional purchase (assuming its being made)

They could. But I feel like they would have announced something like that already. Not sure what would be the holdup.

There is no PS5 version announced. You will be able to play it on PS5 but it will be at the worst, the PS4 Pro version of the game based on what Cerny has talked about previously.

Same reason we know the UI will be totally different and they haven't shown us anything.
Or the new Share button...or everything that's not new games and specs basically.
