such an abstract, alien sentence, this title. like no one ever said that
I've heard it multiple times in my lifesuch an abstract, alien sentence, this title. like no one ever said that
This looks SUPER GOOD and that cover of Toxic is... infectious.
Yeah, with the check list, I feel like she can't be killing all those men. That'd be one hell of a body count. So maybe she's just drugging and sexually assaulting them anally or something.Interesting premise. I'm curious how it will stick the landing. You'll note it cleverly implies violence but never actually shows its hand.
I think that you don't know is entirely the point. I'd expect the movie to play with your expectations until the very end.So is this horror, thriller, or subversive comedy. Depending on which this subject matter will go over way differently. I in theory love it though.
Sorry for the bump, but this was apparently shown at Sundance and some reviews are popping up, such as:
Can't freaking wait for this.
Edit: Had a look at Rotten Tomatoes. 27 reviews and 100%.

Might have missed the obvious in those tweets but where is this implied over a general desire to just not see this film supported?I'm not on board with the implication that people are immoral for watching and perhaps enjoying aspects of this movie. Let's maybe not go that far.

There's been reviews since January. At 93 percent currently but it seems like the ending is the most common criticism. I'm assuming that's what the spoilers are about? Not gonna read those spoilers until reviews come out, but it doesn't sound good :(
Yup! It's the kinda ending that ruins and otherwise great movie. Bad enough that it turns me off the entire thing because it sounds absolutely tone deaf/problematic.There's been reviews since January. That's the conundrum. Reviews are saying that it's a good movie. The tweeter's spoilers are saying that its not only a bad movie, but a triggering one.Not gonna read those spoilers until reviews come out, but it doesn't sound good :(
They can be. But it's hard to discuss why what happens is an issue of you don't know the spoilers.I don't any movie can be great or bad simply because of what it's about or what happens. I never feel it's fair to review films based on spoilers.
