I believe someone posted this on the other site, but this shit is too good of a catch to not be transferred here:

That was me!

Really like this album considering it came out of nowhere. The cover's fucking baller, too.

I've added 2 more links to the OP, totally forgot to mention them before. It's 2 YouTube channels that upload full albums, mainly covering psych, stoner and doom.

Stoned Meadow of Doom
The Bong Druid Of Mammoth Weed Mountain

I've found a tonne of albums through these channels.

Ah yeah, Stoned Metal of Doom! I've found so much good shit from that channel. I'll definitely check our the other one too, thanks!

Wait, did the dude rename it "Meadow" while I wasn't looking? I could've sworn...

Some finds last night thanks to those channels

Rancho Bizzarro, very energetic and rocking instrumental stoner: https://ranchobizzarro.bandcamp.com/releases
Agusa, awesome 70s throw back, lots of flute: https://agusaband.bandcamp.com/album/agusa
Mother Engine, somehow missed that they put a new album out: https://motherenginerock.bandcamp.com/album/hangar-2
Cracked Machine, an awesome find that reminds me a bit of Yuri Gagarin, but not quite as hectic and fast: https://crackedmachine.bandcamp.com/
Sun Mammuth, great stoner rock with a helping of psych: https://sunmammuth.bandcamp.com/
Apodemus, mixing stoner rock and space rock, some great riffs and solos: https://apodemus.bandcamp.com/album/orbital-elements

Well both King Buffalo and All Them Witches killed. Got a tour poster for only 10 bux and a King Buffalo vinyl that they all graciously signed. Amazing show.

That Apodemus stuff was pretty awesome. Thanks!

Nice! Glad to hear, man. I own all ATW on vinyl, but I have never been able to find a copy of Orion, despite all my searching.

Cool. I'm hoping that KB have a few albums left on Saturday. I didn't have any cash on my the first time I saw them, and last time all my money went towards Elder merch...

Saw Dream Theater at Beacon Theatre earlier tonight for their Images ands Words 25th anniversary tour. They were awesome, though Labrie is having trouble hitting notes, which I guess is understandable at this point especially since they've been touring almost nonstop since the Astonishing. Though it appeared he was saving his voice for the high note in Learning to Live, and he did hit it, even though all of the songs are played a bit downtuned now.

They closed with A Change of Seasons as well which was awesome.

Just getting around to hitting up the rest of those recommendations, jambo.

Cracked Machine has got me hooked already.

I could never get into King Gizzard, which is a shame because they are doing some freaking work this year. What is it, five albums?

EDIT: RE: Mother Engine...this is real good stuff. Reminds me of Colour Haze a little. I love instrumental jams.

Saw Helms Alee and Kowloon Walled City Friday. Helms Alee blew me away.

Seeing Spotlights next month as well, who I've been enjoying.

Also been enjoying sleepmakeswaves, A. Armada, and If These Trees Could Talk.

This might be my favourite song

Are you me?
Turns -> Lights is just sublime. The whole album is incredible, though. Damn, I love Colour Haze. I wish I could find some of their albums on vinyl...I saw Periscope in a record shop over the weekend...and they are selling it for $55! Gah. CH are from Germany, so I'm guessing importing it to the states is rare and expensive.

Also, found a really good playlist today. 5-hrs long of sweet spacey psych. Very much digging it so far.

Yeah, All is one of the best, ever.

That's pretty expensive. I'd suggest buying directly from Elektrohasch, although you might get dinged with a customs fee. I bought a CD version of Colour Haze's newest album from there earlier this year, and Stefan included a handwritten note in the package thanking me. Super cool. He also spelled Canada with a K, which seems very German to me, heh.

Cool, I'll check that out. I've only heard of 8 of the 42 bands featured, though. lol

Yeah I love Causa Sui for relaxing, but still with some nice intense guitar work when they want to.

There's a cool live set of theirs from Dunajam

Found a great Aussie stoner band today, Ahkmed: http://ahkmed.bandcamp.com

I've been trying to force myself in to listening to just new music recently, but I really wanna listen to Elder again. Lore and Reflections of a Floating World are just too damn good.

Currently obsessed with this song (EP). Dunno if ya'll have heard this one, but it's an incredible trip with an awesome crescendo. The bass sounds like it's underwater or something, it's awesome. If you got 25 minutes to kill, I'd highly recommend it

All them Witches are awesome. I was bummed when they had to cut their set short when they played Toronto a few weeks ago.

Just a heads-up, I'm planning a semi-regular "digest" post with news and recommendations. It'll skew more towards heavy rock (psych/stoner/etc.) so hopefully I can introduce some cool bands to those of you who are interested. By the way, I finally got around to listening to Causa Sui (posted in here a few weeks back), and they're awesome! Dead Meadow are always great as well.

Anyway, let me give this a shot...

Earthless will be releasing a new album in March, and touring North America with one of Japan's best, Kikagaku Moyo. Read more here, and listen to some Kikagaku Moyo below.

Yawning Man released a new single, "Ghost Beach" on bandcamp. All proceeds will go towards their current European tour and new album to be released in 2018.
Listen/Buy from here

Fu Manchu announced a new album "Clone of the Universe" and world tour in early 2018. One of the songs will feature Alex Lifeson on guest guitar! Here's some classic Fu while we wait for a new track to be posted.

Lastly, Robustfellow has reissued "Searching Low and High" by stoner rock legends, Eternal Elysium. Check out their bandcamp page to listen/purchase.
