Totally with you on all points. Forgotten Sands has some of the best, most creative puzzle-platforming in the entire series. Being able to temporarily turn water into a solid is brilliantly integrated.I'll just echo what others have said. 2008 was a decent game, but not great like some of the others. I also feel it could get by with a simple remaster whereas Sands of Time or the original (or even The Forgotten Sands) would do much better with a full remake.
royalties. Ubisoft don't actually own Prince of Persia. Hence, Assassin's Creed. Why not a new one? Remaking 2008 would be worthless, it is not very good and it also still looks pretty great.
Sadly, the combat was terrible. They should expand on the platforming of FS and bring along with it the improved combat system they introduced in WW.Totally with you on all points. Lots of us? I firmly believe it's the best game in the series.EDIT: Thought it was an original game, didn't read the "Remake" thing. ...is it seriously a remake of the 2008 one? Who the hell liked that one?
Amazing how I can picture exactly what's going on, just from those sounds.

That sounds like Sands of Time to me.
Oh my god I LOVE THIS game. I'm in for either but am happy we might get a continuation.Shame it's apparently the bland-as-hell Nolan North/Elika game and not Sands of Time. I would be totally into a NEW Prince of Persia or a remake of Sands of Time but I really don't want to revisit Drake of Persia.
Don't they have to pay royalties for remakes as well?royalties. Ubisoft don't actually own Prince of Persia. Hence, Assassin's Creed.
Sure but I can't imagine it would be anything close to that of a new game.
It leaked before this. So I guess it leaked twice!
