If anything, I think they are too sexy. If 80s (and 70s) did anything right, it was a mixture between pretty people and normies. IMO, that made those movies and televisions shows a bit more realistic and grounded.There were some great, but goofy looking actors to come out of that era that would've never even been given a shot nowadays bececause everybody expects overly hot actors and actresses for roles. I think it was the 90s when I started to see a more focus on "hot" celebrities. I DO recall that decade being the one I heard the line (as a justification) "sex sells" the most.How could I forget Marika? I had such a crush on her.

I get that he had talent and charisma and that adds a lot to the total package. But as someone who wasn't a big fan, just in still pics he's not particularly handsome to me.
Despite the fact that I actually consider Prince to be a very pretty man, there's also a component of "you had to be there."
Prince was undeniably one of the biggest music heartthrobs of his era. Shit, TO THIS DAY if that man comes up my mom and aunties will talk about the assless chaps.
