Nothing reported yet, but it is Burton going CG heavy with Disney. That aint gonna be cheap.
Yeah, and not in a good way.I don't see genereal audiences caring about Sonic, beyond the fanbase (and the fanbase has been having a field day with the posters alone, to say the least).
I have no doubt they'll advertise it as the last Skywalker film.Dark Phoenix, New Mutants, Artemis Fowl, Sonic, Alita.
If Disney is smart, their marketing with Episode IX will focus on the finality of this being the last film in the "Skywalker Saga", like Episode III (and, presumably, ROTJ, though I wasn't alive to experience it) was marketed as the final Star Wars theatrical film, but Episode IX has a few things going against it: Luke will likely have limited screen time as a Force Ghost who can't interact with the main action; same with Carrie Fisher, given her passing. I'm attending SW Celebration in April, which is when the first trailer will probably premiere, and gauging the fan reaction to that, and gauging the atmosphere among fans in general, will inform my outlook on Episode IX's reception.
Why are people thinking Aladdin will do poorly. No live action remake has failed so far.

People said that about the first movie and yet here we are. Not saying that it won't bomb but still.
I saw the trailer before Into the Spider-Verse, and I thought it was a fake trailer that was actually an advert for something else.
The only reason I left T6 off my list is because Cameron is actually involved with this one.
First one did 90 mil on 60mil. That's a flop. Next did 160 on 80. That would be another flop, but less so. They only greenlit the second after Del Toro won the Oscar.Alita will bomb. It looks terrible.
Why are ppl saying hellboy though? The last two films did pretty well.
