One of the major plot lines hinges on the idea that women can't go fight.

No, they portrayed middle-earth as patriarchal and sexist as it is in the books with complete awareness that was what they were doing. They did beef up the roles of several female characters like Arwen and Eowyn, giving them a larger presence than in the books but ultimately decided against changes that broke the in-universe societal structures.

For example they filmed Arwen fighting in Helm's Deep, but decided against it since it detracted from Eowyns storyline of breaking norms by fighting in the Rohan army disguised as a man.

Schwarzenegger has some amazing/hilarious stories about hanging out with Andre. He used to have to sneak off to try and pay for their meals because Andre would refuse to not pay for the entire thing himself. A lot of the time he thought he was getting away with it until he's suddenly whisked into the air and told by a very drunk Andre that he wouldn't put him down until he's allowed to pay.

Isn't Schwarzenegger generally believed to be shorter than he claims and most people think? He's like a wrestler, where he has a billed height that's probably a few inches above his actual height.

I mean those guys were gigantic either way but perceptions of Arnie probably exaggerate it in those photos.
