It was Atari Frogger. My dad had it hooked up to some tiny crappy CRT. I had an epiphany while playing that day. I realized then that video games were all I wanted to do.
Asteroids on Atari 2600
I still have the console aswell. Last time I tried to turn it on some 5 years ago it was still going strong. It's the only console I have kept throughout my life.

This was at a tavern my parents would take me and my brothers for pizza growing up. Arkanoid was my shit.
Thro the Wall on the Spectrum 48
I think my first game was a game and watch or grandstand pacman, but Thro the wall was first computer game for me too! Was part of a starter pack we got with the Speccy. Next day we went back and got Manic Miner - which the whole family played for years! :)

To this day I still love swinging on ropes in games. Having my fix with Fallen Order right now.

Mixed-Up Mother Goose. Such a surreal game. I don't think I ever knew what I was doing in this game, which was supposed to be edutainment, or what I was supposed to be doing for that matter.
Thinking about it, I'm not sure if there was a Dutch translation of this game. If not, that would at least partially explain the confusion the 5-year old me experienced.
We had an Atari 2600 when I was real young and this was the first game I was able to actually play (and be decent at) with my dad.
I played the original Space War in San Diego a year before Space Invaders came out...

The twist is, I played this on a computer in the office of one my mom's co-workers o_O
I'm thinking it was 1998-99. So I don't know if NES emulation on PC was a thing.
