this was technically the first game I played. Found it with an atari in my aunts garage, played it for like 5 minutes on the tv in the garage, thought it was lame and went back outside.


about 2 years later my cousin got a genesis and only had Sonic The hedgehog 2. Played that game for YEARS. Still remember all the music cheats to that game.

So technically Pitfall was the first game I played but Sonic 2 was the game that made me enjoy games.

The first one I have vivid memories of, at least, was Pssst! for the ZX Spectrum. It was the second game ever released by the company that eventually became Rare, so I guess it has some pedigree.
