Got my Megadrive as a 10 year old Christmas '91 with Sonic and my jaw was on the floor (coming from C64). Amazingly so many of my friends got Megadrives then or soon after too. It was hugely popular in the UK. Lots of game swapping ensued. So many cool games on the platform.

Edit: Should add that I also got Disney's Fantasia with the console too that Christmas, but that game was fucking garbage.
